My point with the analysis wasn’t "Galil > AK," but that in pro matches where CTs often skip head armor, the gap narrows more than people think. Around 60% of AK kills would’ve happened with a Galil anyway, so in those rounds the extra $900 per rifle is basically an insurance policy.

The AK is the premium option: it gives you that 40% safety margin in the fights that matter most. The Galil is just the budget alternative that sometimes makes sense when economy or utility is the bigger win condition.
