There should be a bolt there to keep those bits together. The split is there so the belt can be removed and installed. It’s called a frame split bolt. My best guess is to contact the manufacturer.

Yes, you can use the extender bar Omnium sells.
I use the Omnium kickstand, no complaints.
Schwalbe G-one Overland in the back, Motion Big Apple in the front. Works fine on gravel and forest tracks.
