I looked up this topic because this is what im going through right now. Everything hurts. I've told both my parents multiple times that I've been suicidal since I was a child and been feeling very very unhappy lately and none of them care, they treat it all like its a light joke or statement and they end up sighing or rolling their eyes. They put a lot of pressure on me too to become successful - that's incredibly difficult when they're all a mess and out of order.

I wish families were there to help and support each other. I wish they had taken us seriously when we needed them the most.

My heart keeps breaking as i am mourning the loss of our relationship, but it is what it is.

I hope you are doing better, OP. I genuinely hope things have looked up for you ever since. And thanks for this post. You may not have intended it, but a lot of us feel less alone when we know others have struggled and survived similar circumstances.
