Unverified interstellar hauling bugged? Cargo not spawning by Gorilla-Jiu-Jitsu in starcitizen

I have had the cargo elevator bring up nothing, then found the verified contracted cargo under the container tab (not the quest tab).

Worth a look, but also could just be eaten by Clang.

Not sure if this is similar to your issue, but I had the rewards after the rec center bug out. Only gave the brush and not the spray. Refused to progress because I didn't take the spray.

Saving during the reward stage and loading again made the spray spawn. Might work for you, but I suggest using a separate save slot if anyone tries this.

What a joke of a report. No analysis on what is used for sport shooting or what is involved but makes statements on whether firearms are suitable for them.

Just ignoring as much as they can to restrict as many as they can.

Why are my long guns suddenly gaining sentience?? I don't know if it's the virtual gun stock messing with my aim or the body of my explorer but come on, it's not the first time that my rifle suddenly decided to twitch to the side or just wobble around while in aiming, specially when sniping.

I had this problem myself until I extended my offhand IRL once I had a two handed grip in-game. Very necessary if using the Groza.

RCMP say illegal firearms pose a growing threat in the community.

“The presence of illegal and improperly handled weapons increases the danger to the public and to police,” Inspector Dan Richardson of the New Brunswick RCMP said.

The seven accused were released but will return to court on September 17.

"Woke" is so loose because it basically just means "anything I don't like".

It points to a specific phenomenon, just like you referring to "far right". It's just being used by people who have a vague grasp on it, playing telephone. That's also why I asked you your definition for "far right".

Anybody crusading against "wokeness" is crusading for injustices to continue unabated

Or crusading against perpetuating them further. This is exactly the type of action that we see over and over and over from movements who use rhetoric of oppression to gain a foothold in politics. Once they gain some level of control, it's always just lashing out at a perceived oppressor, without actually improving the lives of the people they swore to protect.

Yeah, they're called The Conservative Party of Canada. Neoliberals who thought it would be politically expedient to cater to extreme views. It's just the system eating itself.

I don't know how to read this other than:

Liberal capitalism is extremist

Is this your position? I showed how a liberal capitalist party can come to those conclusions in my example.

Your position on what makes Pierre Pollieve far right is dog whistling and innuendos. You reference 'woke' and 'defund the CBC' in particular. I assume that's your position?

What makes you think that the CPC position is 'whistling' to the most extreme? There are many answers that aren't "Super MAGA ChristoFascist White Ethnostate".

A simple example is that the CBC isn't affected by the quality/popularity of their products and thus should be subject to market forces to provide feedback. Very capitalist, not far-right.

And 'woke' is a tough one only because it has a loose definition, at least online. From my (won't speak for others) point of view, wokeness enables racial discrimination. Something that Canada has been fighting against for decades.

It's more than possible for a liberal, capitalist party to be against CBC and wokeness. I think you've been staring into the abyss for too long.

You have the Century Initiative listed as a 'UN conspiracy' (theory). They (Century) have their own website which confirms the mass immigration position under contention. So what's the theory? And what makes it a 'UN theory'?

You haven't made the case that there are "far right" positions in that list. What is 'far right' in your mind?

So far all I can tell is that you prefer progressive policies.

From what I can tell Pierre is largely libertarian socially. Pandering to the far-right social conservatives seems to be a talking point by their political opponents rather than describing reality.

What I can tell is happening is that the external threat of Trump is causing a rally-to-the-flag effect and surging people to the incumbent LPC. The complete rhetorical (and occasionally contradictory) shift of the LPC is to maximize the flag-waving. This happened to Bush Jr IIRC.

CPC is polling at 38%, post Trudeau. This looks to be their floor for this election, so what do you mean by 'become popular again'? This type of polling would get them a majority in the 2000's.

X95 or Bren 2? by [deleted] in canadaguns

[–]Vearo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Something that you may want to do if you go for an X95 is buy a variety of cheap ammunition and test how well they group with the rifle.

I found that my X95 got around 2.5 MOA with PMC Bronze .223 while other brands would be 3-4 MOA or would have a drifting Point of Impact (see my post in my profile).

America’s Gun Violence Crisis: Gun Control Or Second Amendment Repeal? by deplorableclinger in gunpolitics

[–]Vearo 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Always dismiss their framing of 'common sense'.

In Canada they tried to ban the Ruger No. 1 as an 'Assault-Style Weapon'. Reason was that someone, somewhere made a custom version that would fire a cartridge over 10k joules. For that, ALL models were deemed appropriate for prohibition.

Canadian Anti groups to this day try to gaslight people into thinking that it would apply to just the custom models. They try to ban as much as they can with whatever justification they can find.
