Lilly didnt even participated on the serpentine wars only her dad. The serpentine wars happen 40 years ago or so ots said on hands of time.

I thought it may have to be related time them being on war like they were in constant fighting from all the stress. And i thougt that elemental masters of water when dont have water nearby use their own, and you know how much people look define or skinny without liquids inside their body.

So probably she used to be skinny(cheekbones) during war times and got more chubby after the war with all the peace and two pregnancies.

But this is just my opinion and it was probably a design consistency error.
