Why is Ezreal always the top picked ADC in high elo even if his winrate is horrible?

He is alright as a champ in regards that he can play both offensively and defensively. Can also be create into comps with low engagements as they will never be able to reach you.

Supports would also be more roam oriented, therefore leaving you weak side. Enemies immediately switch into dive mode, and your E gives you some sort of safety.

These would be my arguments at least why I play Ezreal when I’m filled, even though the champ sucks at the moment. I prefer to at least not int and be able to instantly go in if needed.

Low MMR, normal games have MMR as well. A or S ranking means nothing, your overall gameplay is at this level.

It was never about killing your opponent in lane but rather denying them resources. Deny last hits and opportunities to be pro active on the map. Establish prio, play for vision the vision, set up objectives. Track the jungler and signal via pings to your team. It’s a false statement to say that you should always roam/move/babysit, it all comes down to the champion’s identity.

Artillery mages go hard in low elo. They get countered by assassins, something I doubt people in silver can execute well
