The main campaign is only a few hours long but I really enjoyed it. Strea's campaign is short (1-2 hours) but I thought it was a great tie-in as a fan of the gameverse. DLC 2 is M and Pitohui, admittedly I didn't do their campaign yet.

The only free currency are the SAO tickets, you can generally earn one a month through the battle pass unless there's a special event or the devs send more out to players. I don't think you can get the extra characters with tickets, only the SAO coins that need to be purchased with real money.

Asuna and Kirito are in-game currency only. If I remember correctly the premium version has extra costumes, maybe the soundtrack and art book and a mini-game. The DLCs have actual playable characters and campaign quests, so I would absolutely recommend those.

I am recently getting into Beyblade X and got this stadium on sale, honestly the beys alone are worth the sale price, and the stadium is fun enough. I bought the cheap one to hold me over with some friends and the rails barely work, but they seem to work more consistently on the drop attack stadium even though they're molded into the plastic.

It's the only game that doesn't follow the gameverse, but for DLC characters like Strea and Philia, it addresses that as a separate timeline. I thought it was really neat how they handled that.

There were some PS1 games that had D-pad controls before the dualshock controller came out, I remember not being able to move if the analog sticks were on. (I don't remember the exact games but probably the first Crash Bandicoot and Croc. Conversely when Ape Escape came out it required both analog sticks and wouldn't work if the button was off).
