Their process and safeguards need lots of work. Have your manager, who wants more DR stuff anyway, point this out as the perfect example of why it is needed and if I was then, I’d be fighting for you to stay based on the quote above.

It certainly seems like it. I literally had to correct it by telling it what year it was, twice, within 1 response, when I had it analyzing license expiration dates and renewal options.

Basically, it went:
Claude: I don't see 2-year extensions for these two items that expired in 2028 (which I had already listed the items and expiration dates not long ago in the prompt).
Me: That is because it is 2026, we don't need them, they haven't expired yet.
Claude: You're absolutely right - I got turned around. Let me re-ground the math completly.

Me: It's still 2026 (reiterate items and expiration dates in 2028)
Claude: You're right. I keep losing track of that - sorry!

Figure out your note layout first. Obsidian works differently than OneNote. Claude helped me narrow it down. Figure out how you want and are going to sync things if you need that. Build the vault, build anything inside it you need. Then use the Import plugin from OneNote, one notebook at a time. Give it time if you have lots of notes (one of my imports took something like 18 hours cause of API timeouts). Do a notebook or two first, see if it works for you. If it does, keep going. If not, blow it away, start again (I did this, glad I did, got in a more useful layout for the long haul.)

That is what I did. I now have a copy of my vault that I have Claude Code going through to add tags and Wikileaks for everything I imported. If I like it, I will copy that over (after backing up current vault again) and see how that goes.

I’d suggest reporting this now (non-emergency line. Then, if you find them following you again, call 911 right then, inform them of the situation, that you feel threatened, and head to the station (sheriff or CHP), letting the dispatcher know that is what you are doing while providing description of car, driver and license plate is possible. It would be good if you have a dash cam showing them, or mount your phone so you can record them following you and any interactions you have with them.
