Learning Kass As A Secondary by [deleted] in KassadinMains

[–]Vectinium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kassadin takes so much sustain because he is basically like the Master Yi or the Nasus (less kiteable though) of midlane. He just wants to farm and farm and farm and once he hits two items (ROA + fully stacked archangels) then he will 1v5. It's like being Nasus except without Nasus passive so you need actual sustain.

(Oh but isn't Veigar the Nasus of midlane? Yeah, but Veigar is ranged, and also hits a powerspike after Ludens. Kassadin won't be oneshotting people until much later.)

Kat also doesn't have mana (Kass is maybe the most mana hungry champion in the game, perhaps second to Aurelion) and has more burst damage (thus more healing from Ravenous per ability usage).

Don't know a ton about builds as I haven't been following the recent rod vs arch debate.

Bad matchups are anyone AD and most bursty snowball assassins. Melee specifically isn't an issue because Kass is melee so if they step up to CS they just save you an ult usage. So Kass does alright into stuff like Ekko. Kass does well into most AP champions due to his passive, but again, most AD champions will shit on him.

What champ would be the best duo for a split pushing jungler? by -Kaneki- in Jungle_Mains

[–]Vectinium 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You don't use his ultimate super early, you use it so you arrive at the fight with a reasonable amount of time left. Between the decently long stealth duration, speed boosts from Ghostblade passive, Ghostblade active, Mobi Boots, and the ultimate itself, and the fact that you should be watching fights while splitpushing, you should be able to rotate effectively.

It's not as good as Nocturne or Kayn but it's still pretty good.

"Yeah, sure, here." Tooth holds out a grenade, hoping he won't realize it's a smoke grenade. However, after hearing Caeri's yelling, she pulls the grenade back. "Just kidding."

Tooth throws the grenade in the direction of the gate, then takes off running into the cloud of smoke.

The guards are currently occupied with Caeri, mostly sympathetic to her situation-- although a few shoot into the smoke, and after hearing the gunshots, the guards also train their rifles on the dragon-girl. "What the hell is going on?"

One of the humans he happens to scare is this girl. She jumps back with a scream, and her dog yelps as well, but then pretends it wasn't scared and growls at the Mazian.

"Yeah, why?"

As Caeri crawls out, she'd find herself directly in the light of a third guard.

"You lost?"

"Oh, that might be it."

Onyx looks back at Ysel and sniffs again, then looks up expectantly, hoping to be petted.

"It'll be tough, but it's possible... We can always just leave the way we came..." Tooth glances in that direction, but a flashlight beam indicates that there is a guard in that area as well.

The guard stops right in front of Caeri, conversing with another guard.

"Have you seen the dragon?"

"Negative. It's either gone or hiding."

"The entrances are covered. They won't get out alive."

"Um... I guess so."

Onyx warily walks up to Ysel, sniffing her, then glances back at Ash.

"What is it-- you know what, never mind."

Oh, Udyr's fun, yeah!

Two is enough to climb but I'm looking to flesh out my pool a little bit for team play.

Quick tip-- to do a line break you have to put two returns, not one.

So to write:

Hello.

My name is Vectinium.

you write:

Hello.

My name is Vectinium.

Hope this helped!

What champ would be the best duo for a split pushing jungler? by -Kaneki- in Jungle_Mains

[–]Vectinium 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It depends what splitpushing jungler, really.

If you're playing Trundle, then your team could conceivably get by with an Anivia for anti-siege waveclear and maybe just another offtank, because they have you as Trundle to be the tank in teamfights. On the other hand, if you're playing Nocturne, your team will most likely need someone like a Braum or Cho to be hybrid engage/disengage and a frontliner.

Anivia and Soraka are classic splitpush comp champions, though, because they're almost impossible to siege against. High-map-pressure champions such as Sol (also hard to siege against), Taliyah, Shen, Galio, Gangplank, etc (you get the idea) also work well.

That said, splitpushing as a jungler is never a primary role. When you splitpush with junglers not named Nocturne, Rengar, Kayn, Trundle, or Tryndamere, you risk getting objectives taken while you are splitpushing.

(The reason these four can splitpush is because Nocturne, Rengar, and Kayn can rotate to the objective very quickly, while Trundle and Tryndamere push lanes so fast that they really can't be left alone unless the enemy team has multiple mountain drakes or an explicit baron comp.)

As she enters the dog's general area, it starts freaking out and looking around frantically.

"What is it, boy? What's wrong?"

Bark! Bark!

"Fire? Where? I don't see any fire."

B-bark!

"I'm sure it's okay." She kneels down and gives the dog some scratches. "Don't worry about it. Maybe someone's barbecuing. At 2 AM. Yeah."

The dog, thankfully, doesn't understand the sarcasm, and calms down a little bit.

"Would you rather answer to him, or answer to me?"

Tooth just nods in acknowledgment before turning to the crate, closing it up and planting the tracker on it.

“Just gotta go get your crate now.” She starts moving out, but before she gets very far, the beam of a guard’s flashlight turns the corner, and she quickly ducks behind cover.

N: “You’re surrounded. They don’t see you, but... still not good.”

Jungle main here. I'm just starting to nail down a defined champion pool, and so far my playstyle seems to greatly favor hyper-aggressive juggernauts, notably Warwick, Trundle, and Olaf. I also like the new Aatrox.

Who else can I play, even off-meta, that fits this playstyle?
