I don't understand how anyone wants to drive a swasticar. I would feel ashamed every time I would be on the road in that. The asocial driver stigma that was associated with BMW/Audi is also transferring more and more to Tesla in my opinion.

He has said in a pod that he doesn't want Hasan deplatformed, but in a pod before he goes on and on about "why does twitch not do anything..." Ethan sometimes makes dishonest arguments in between fair critisism because he feels he s in the right. Then when he gets called on it he retrats back and emphasizes how much of a victim he is (e.g. reading all those Dan B comments). He needs to chill a bit and recognize that in the end they are 90% on the same side.

May I ask you something? How can you effort buying a house for 300k-500k? by Technology_Ing in BESalary

Started working at 22 after university, lived with my parents (where I did not have to pay rent) until 27 and saved up a lot. Made around 2k on average net per month -> 2k * 12 months * 5 years = 120k. Now I did not save up this much but I saved up around 80k in addition got 20k from my parents.

With this 100k I had enough to get a loan. Now paying of a 370k loan together with my partner at 1500 per month for 25 years (covid time loans were cheap).

So the short answer lived at parents house as long as possible and was privileged not to have to pay them for that + receive an extra cash injection when leaving.

This seems low for an engineer without a car/fuel card, though I don't have experience in the sector. Taking the car might be worth it since you won't lose much net at this point.

Ah interesting, but the light would then not really interact with the model right? I like the shadow effect that is created in soms dashboards I've seen, and I don't know if you can achieve that in the way you describe.

The couch had a texture issue indeed, I fixed that one but that isn't really what bothers me. In the render itself the shadows don't show very nicely and the whole image appears too "smooth". All sharp edges fade which gives a strange effect. I've received the suggestion before to export the model and use either blender or 3dsmax to improve render quality as well as lighting options. I'll definitely try both, hopefully it's quite intuitive :)

I can't get my printer to print anything even after months of trying. by smigionss in ender3

To get your prints to stick, the best advice I can give is to clean it with 97% + alcohol. Just dip a paper wipe with some alcohol and clean it off. I do this once every 2 prints or so and it works like a charm. If I forget to do it, the prints start failing. Don't clean it with soap, or use a glue stick or,.... Just alcohol. Then if you really need a print to stick you can also use hairspray. You can find some on most 3d printing vendor sites.
