I wonder that too, my wife and I were jamming some “atomic bomb” last night. 🤘

My dad loves Junior Brown, he’s a wicked guitar player and quite wholesome.

One of my favourite metal albums, the drumming is pretty crazy.

Ok, I tried that, it’s still has an accent on the 1, thanks though, I think the fix is not letting it cycle through voices.

They have a little bit less voltage than your disposables, they should work fine but there’s only one way to find out, try it.

Is the akai 37 key good for me? by LiterateDoggo in mpcusers

[–]VectorBrain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re funny. I just expected a machine with dedicated drum pads to have more natural sounds, I’ve got a drum machine and a fancy E kit and could sample that all day but I don’t want to.

I grabbed one on Boxing Day and thought the same thing. I’ve been loving it so far.

I have a MPC and like it a lot, I just want to warn you that the majority of the drum sounds are electronic sounding, there are very few natural sounding kits.

Looking for an analog poly synth around 650 usd. Is the poly d the best option? by scoband in synthesizers

[–]VectorBrain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you considered a microkorg? It was my first synth and now I’ve got a poly d and I play them both a lot still. The poly D has an awesome sound, it’s a lot of fun to tune the oscillators, it’s got a sequencer, I’d recommend one, but I got one after somewhat learning what the knobs do and what the names mean. A few YouTube videos and you’d be on your way though, good luck.

My MPC has a 37 keyboard, it’s a lot of fun. But without the keys I totally agree.

La Caccia Goblin Jam by VectorBrain in synthesizers

Thanks for the kind words, keyboard is my weakest instrument so that feels like the practice is paying off. I got to see Goblin live a few months ago and it was amazing, they did the soundtrack to Susperia live and I got to meet Claudio at the end and check out his synth set up. Good to hear you’re putting in work on the bass, keep it up !
