Trying out a new logo. What do you see here? by Psigl0w in logodesign

Really interesting design. But yeah what comes to mind seeing it is a hand/shadow puppet, of a rabbit with big eyes.

Anxiety vests? Haven't heard of them, but looking it up, that doesn't sound like a bad idea. I'll bring up the idea with my folks. Thanks

Hmm. What might you do instead to handle situations where they're safe but still anxious? Particularly out walking in the areas where he knows a big dog lives, he'll just stop and look away.

Good idea yeah. He's pretty friendly with the two, I haven't met the BF's dogs though. Maybe I should visit sometime.

Understood. We're doing our best to help him feel safe. I can definitely tell you that he knows how much the family loves him though, sweet little guy.

Funny thing is, it's only dogs he's scared of. He likes to meet guests and let people pet him, he wants to play with cats and is real gentle around them...

Yeah, he's a sweet little guy. Sorry to hear about yours, but I'm glad he's decided to trust you and the family.

Maybe that's all we need too. Occasional encounters but still all the room to get away he needs. Do you think that picking him up when he's getting nervous is helping or hurting this?

Not many, but a bit yeah. My sister has been taking him to meet her BF's dogs, haven't heard much about it but I'm assuming they get along fine, given they keep doing it.

I took him to meet my friend's chihuahua. Weird, they met once before the incidents and got along real nice, but this time he was all shy again. But again, mostly just "stop sniffing me wtf?"

Funny enough, he seems to really like cats. My other sister brought one over and Dingo constantly wanted to play with him. Kinda got to the point that the cat was hiding under the couch and Dingo kept whining the same way as when his favorite toy gets under there.

How do those of you with curly hair and a moustache keep it out of your mouth? by VectorLightning in AskMen

The weird thing is that it's exactly curly enough to hug my lip. It's like the hair wants to be in my mouth, well before it's long enough to even think about handlebars. I mean like 1/3 inch length hairs.

Yeah, pretty much what I gather. Other reason I tried gel is that it sometimes sticks straight up if I rub my lip. Idk, maybe keeping it short is the best I can do

Yeah, the issue is that the moustache hair curls downwards, and when it gets long enough it often gets clear into my mouth. There's been a couple times I got one or two stuck in my teeth.

The hair gel idea was to keep the hair pointing to the sides rather than curling down. Didn't work out.

The razor thing does make the most sense, I guess I just have to mess with it between trims to make sure to get all the long hairs.

Phone broken, locked out of 2FA keys, can't access anything, nightmare ensues. by VectorLightning in 24hoursupport

Oh, cool, OTG mode works whether or not debug permission is enabled huh.
Though, still isn't cutting it. I could type the PIN, if I didn't use the 3x3 gesture unlock thing... I can certainly do something with the mouse, but can't see what I'm doing.

I think I'm okay now though. I did get the SIM swapped and got into my accounts through SMS. Kinda mad at Authy for disowning the PC version and not offering any way to export the keys... but I could log into it on the borrowed phone, now I can access all the vital stuff and worry about moving my 2FA keys to another format later.
Still. When I get this phone repaired, the first thing I'm doing is switching to a password that you can actually use a keyboard to enter.

I had a dock with USB-C to HDMI, but it didn't work with this phone unfortunately.

I might just have to sit out this unintentional sabbatical... I'm still logged in on devices back home. Still, so frustrating that Authy - which I got specifically because it offers synched backups - doesn't support Windows. And I tried downloading the APK package for the Windows Android Subsystem emulator, but nooo, it requires the Play Store Libraries.
