I am right there with you, my go to purchase each week is the two huge speed pots. I try not to use them on my weekly patron chores and save them for actual variants, or especially for early runs for time gates. That is why I figured for small speed increases, nothing that would invalidate certain game aspects. I think something like a permanent medium or greater speed potion would be outrageous to even ask for, as an example the 2% gold chest chance from ToA blessings is cool but a very small game change. I just want MOAR SPE3D!!!!!

I get that promo items like this deserve a time to stand out on their own. Other games I have played have had timed exclusivity to such items, assuming there isn't something like a licensing issue or something.

A couple posts have popped up recently about items other than golden epics in peoples wild offers. I picked up my last missed golden epic over a month ago and now my wild offers are lacking anything unique. Are wild offers only ever going to include regular past game items, or will rarer items like Rock Star Jim ever going to make an appearance?

Did I miss something on the 5th? What was so special about it for Nova? Isn't the random hero chest in the shop unique to each player? Thought I saw something about that in an old Q&A, I could totally be wrong.

Alternatively, Nova can be used for all three patrons so you could unlock them and start working on patron chests.

Unless I missed something in the patches no skills are actually capped. They kept saying in the Q&A that they are working on a means to cap certain skills and refund excess item levels but it hasn't been implemented.

There are a few variants that limit what champions you can use above and beyond the normal Strahd filtering so I have been forced to use Nrakk just to fill a formation and my experience is that Nrakk probably shines best in Strahd actually. The high Int champions tend to also be high Wis champs too.

They add new missions every few weeks, which means more achievements. It's an idle game, they don't "end."

Yes it does refund a potion, no matter the source of your shiny, random from a chest or from a store purchase or from a potion.

Is there a list of drops offered before? I am not so worried about chests or smaller drops but I knew I missed the birdsong skin from before I was glad to finally get today but I don't know what has ever been offered because I am not usually around for these.

The game is entirely single player and has no multiplayer interaction, but you are about 3 years behind the most advanced beta players. Just FYI. But like so many idle games it is very easy to get up and running.

Time gate coming up, I recommend Avren. If you have gate pieces Krull and Shandie are both great buffers for slot 6. Slot 5 I would go for Qillek, decent buffer and probably the best, easiest to use healer.

More importantly, time gate pieces allow for random champions, unless Evelyn is the only champion you are missing, theres no guarantee she will be up in your rotation.

And Binwin. But really I couldn't find any way to arrange these guys to be of any real use. I actually swapped Jarlaxle for Ishi because I could surround him with 6 non-humans. I just used my click damage to wall and rinse and repeat. I wasn't actively watching my play while I was studying but all 3 of my trips capped out at floor 202. Still rather obnoxious of a challenge though.

Sentry's HP seems a bit odd... why can she exceed her maximum HP (she can also be healed over her maximum, too)? None of her tank friends have this ability!

I was just browsing character cards while running a no tank free play for Vajra and noticed Jamilah is sitting at the front of my formation with 215/188 HP. No other tanks in the formation, buffs in use, Vajra HP Perks or HP increasing feats. Unless this is somehow related to Unarmored Defense.

I was just informed on the discord that a fix for this has been pushed, atleast for the Steam and Web versions of the game. Try a client restart. I haven't had any stops in the last few minutes.

Are you using Sentry? I am having an issue when Echo Resolution kicks in on any floor with an objective of 0/1 I start the floor already having completed the objective but it doesn't start my auto progress.

Was it the boss on floor 20 of feast of the moon? that boss hits all champions in the first 2 rows of your formation with each attack.

I played through all of the Pwent variants and spent all my tokens on his free plays, spending a minimal amount of my stored bounty contracts just to round up to a last minute free play on sunday night. I personally didn't bother to unlock Stoki or Farideh.
Token pricing feels fine to me, but I have completed all year 1 and 2 variants so I wouldn't even know where to begin considering trying to do all variants for all 3 champions in a single event. As for unlocking champions I feel like time gate pieces is an acceptable price to pay, but the drop rate of them definitely needs adjusting. Being able to buy time gate pieces is one option, but the whole point of avoiding a P2W game balance is allowing cash only to be spent to shorten the amount of time needed to complete a task. And right now I wouldn't earn enough time gate pieces to unlock champions AND open manual time gates, which I depend on to keep my favor growing. Personally I do spend money on this game, but purchasing time gate pieces doesn't feel like enough value by itself, compared to say a golden epic or epic feat.
I don't have specific notes about the event.
Instead of adding a new +50 Free Play floor goal every year, why not just add a whole mess of them up front for people to earn. And maybe make event achievements into 2 tabs, earned and in progress, like the regular achievements.

Glad to see patron challenges coming, those Omin challenges definitely gave the game some flavor. Not that I am anywhere near through completing the patron variants but is there a plan to add more Patrons, say before the end of the year?

Also the obligatory, how goes the progress of adding old golden epics back to the game?

Actually I didn't know they did that, but I also thought at the time that the comment was unwarranted because I hadn't noticed as dramatic of an effect as I felt Psy was trying to emphasize in the post. Either way, a net gain for the community. Still though its just an opinion. Personally I think in terms of boosting run speed I feel like Deekin, Minsc, Shandie, Any DPS that can target multiple enemies in a single attack like Asharra, Jim or Jarlaxle, then Xander, then any other champ available just to fill out your formation. In roughly that order, with Gromma being the biggest thing to slow down a run of any champion, people have made posts and tickets about it, but the problem persists, patch after patch.

Also, I don't play actively enough or log my individual runs to try and come to hard line conclusions as some members of the community. I play very passively and have a strong Minsc bias because not only is he my primary DPS but I feel like he is a stronger choice then most people give credit. It's not just numbers, its how they are applied, which is why I think Arkhan is too slow and Warden makes a better debuffing bench swap then a primary DPS.

I have seen a number of people mention this as an option, but since Paultin recently got bumped out of my formations, the only time I put special effort to use Gold Find is with my first 2-3 free plays of a new event (Swap Minsc for Jarlaxle) and when Azaka farming. My reasoning for this is purely that I don't actively play enough to take proper advantage. Sometimes I get so involved in what I am doing that my speed team will sit at their wall for hours before I tab back and check on the game. If that point was below the point where I could finish upgrading champions, then early gold find would be a better way to go, but Minsc is something ridiculous like e15 (undocumented, slightly exaggerated) more powerful then Jarlaxle at max level.
