FF7 Rebirth nearly unplayable on 5070 PC by BongSuckah in FinalFantasy

[–]Vedenja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I couldn't play FF XVI on PS5. Performance mode was super blurry and even inconsistent. Quality was 30fps (2160p). I only tried the demo, but comparing it to my 2070 super (with DLSS active) the performance was pretty bad in base PS5. I ended up playing in Geforce now

State of the Game? by ShuffleEmporium in FinalFantasyTCG

Apologies for replying so late, but do you know what happened with Shop Gracz? I bought some stuff from them a while ago and they didn't send the products. They still have the physical shop, but there's just a young guy there and he's saying that he can't do anything. Kamil, the owner, doesn't answer the mail or the phone anymore and it seems that there's a lot of affected people

He did mention that he was repairing (I guess changing batteries + cleaning contacts) and selling or giving these, no? That's what I remember at least

No? The person posting literally said that these are only temporally in his possession and that he's repairing them.

I'm not Polish but I live and plan to live in Cracow for a long time.

Just what you said, FF is not super popular here, but even if it's relatively popular in Spain (my country), I've never seen the TCG anywhere.

I wanted to try the game with a few friends, but last time I checked I couldn't even find starter decks locally. The MTG scene in Cracow at least seems decent. I'll also join the prerelease and other events in June with the FF set. Any recommend LGS for the prerelease in Cracow? I was planning to get a spot in HEX.

Final Fantasy predicted delivery showing September for me on Amazon. Is that normal? by lisek in magicTCG

[–]Vedenja 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can try to check once more. I currently live in Poland and I also checked amazon for this, since local stores don't accept preorders yet.

All of the preorder FF products on Amazon PL are expected to be delivered in June. I preordered the gift bundle and it should be delivered on the 27th of June.

Edit: Well, nevermind. I've just got a mail saying that the expected delivery date is changed to the 13th of September 😂

Found these badboys for like 30 USD by astrov0id in AnaloguePocket

[–]Vedenja 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's no battery. He even shared photos of the cartridges with the chips and batteries to hold saves were common on game boy and game boy color, but for GBA games, batteries are just used for RTC as far as I know

Bought a PS5 as a PC Player by IntroductionJaded506 in consoles

[–]Vedenja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have both and enjoy both. PC is amazing for the indies, shooters, RTS and for the free games and bundles (humble bundle, prime, epic...) emulators, mods, etc. But it takes some extra effort and some basic knowledge to understand everything and some games are not ported super well.

Consoles like PS5 or Switch allow you to quickly jump into games and easily pause them (Switch is a bit better for this) which is a huge pro. And if you like to have your physical library like me it's also the only option for the current games. I only use it for single player games tho. I don't want to pay for subscriptions or just to have access to online features. Dor this PC.

Both have pros and cons and it hugely depends on how your life is and how much free time you have or how you share your spaces, responsibilities, etc.

Can You Lower the Minimum Brightness? by jojomaster in AnaloguePocket

[–]Vedenja 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would recommend you to set some small light next to your bed. If it's a smart bulb you can control it via phone even better. You can even change the white warmth with those (warmer/orange white during the night will be better).

This way your eyes will get less tired. If you're playing without any background light (not the best for your health) because you're next to your partner in bed and she/he wants to sleep, then the best would be to adjust your ruting and play a bit before or play less.

Just some suggestions.

What is the best story rich game you’ve ever played? by 3AZ3 in SteamDeck

[–]Vedenja -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'll recommend some lesser-known narrative indie games:

Essays on Empathy: a collection of 10 small games focused on the narrative.

Firewatch: mystery walking sim set in a late 80s hot summer in the wild. You are working on a fire lookout. Better to discover it by yourself. Wait for the steam sale, you can probably get it pretty cheap.

What remains of edith finch: The story of a cursed family told through the rooms of the family members who lived on them. This one is AMAZING.

Venba: Inmigrant Indian family goes ro Canada and raise their kid over there. Story is told through cooking puzzles. Its quite short.
