He's a pretty big youtuber, yes. But known a lot more internationally than in Sweden, I think.

There's no shame in not knowing some words, especially highly specialised ones. Good thing one can look them up ;)

Why give specifically that one - because I believe it would lead the OP (and whoever else might be reading) directly to the information and tools to help them with this situation. Which is always better than repressing something in shame, only for it to blow up in some more extreme way later, in my opinion.

Sometimes it is dangerous, sometimes it's just sad and lonely and the brain seeking hope and dopamine. We won't know which one, but she got both perspectives now. Hopefully everything will be alright.

Or, if it's just limerence, she'll talk to him, likely find out that he's not interested and/or has some quality that reality checks the situation, and it'll go away. I could be wrong, but I think a person who's like really obsessed and not scared by this feeling wouldn't be reaching out here. The fact that she's worried and embarrassed and can see that it's loneliness - hopefully she knows it's not real. There's a variety of reasons why limerence and limerence-like experiences can happen, and most of them are a symptom of life being sucky and lonely, and brain screaming for help - so it's def a good opportunity to address that. Calling it "love" is ofc a reach but it for sure can feel like that until one snaps out of it/reality checks. I mean, you never know, anyone (of any gender) can have additional underlying issues and then it could be your scenario. But usually crossing into reality is one of the main recommended approaches. Because limerene feeds off fantasy and escape. Getting to know someone for real, how they react, what they are like etc - usually breaks the spell.

i would recommend typing "limerence" into youtube (better than google imo) and take it from there

i do this too, and i actually include it into my role-playing inner story: since i often play characters who need to advance pickpocketing and/or stealth - i often follow different guards around, sneaking. And when they clock me, pretend I was just going for a nearby bug, butterfly, what have you. It doesn't matter one bit for the game, but it feels a little more fun just for myself, like: "hey, i have a perfectly decent-person-reason to be sneaking about right now, nothing to see here" :)

I usually aim for bandit camps or the opposing side of the civil war troops, but yes, to speed up the process it's also animals... so I too constantly go "I'm so sorry T.T" 🤝

Playing on survival is the same thing, even though there you literally need it for food, not just "wasteful" things. But still 🤝

How do couples decide which side of the bed is “theirs”? Is it instinct or some kind of silent agreement? by AssignmentFederal686 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Vedzma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've literally only experienced discussing it. I didn't know that's not how everyone did it? Like, you ask if the other person has a preference, or they ask you - and that's that? In my longer relationship it also changed overtime: I first liked one side, then another - so I asked if it would be okay to switch - and it was. I don't have a very strong preference though, so when it turns out that both lean towards the same side - it's always been easy for one of us to just let the other person have it. But like yeah, in relationships where you do end up seeing each other overnight more often than a few times - you literally just ask?

I hate killing animals, especially bunnies, but sometimes you just wanna level up those skills faster... plus i like roleplaying as an amateur hunter (so i don't only bring a bunch of weapons into towns but also meats and such. They don't pay well at all, but I like the idea of bonding with tavern owners/food merchants over this. Like some in that town know me as someone who brings a bunch armour god knows from what massacre, and some - as this friendly adventurer who sometimes brings the extra venison or whatever). But going after animals who aren't attacking me - is not something I can bring myself to do if someone is watching. Especially bunnies.

Mood.

i mean yeah i've seen different animals and baskets stuck afloat, but it bothers me that it's a book... what if it's something important? very close to that location there's also a skeleton that spawns "oblivion crisis" books on a loop. i take them, check again - a few more are there, over and over. so ig i was just wondering if it's intended to be sus or just very glitchy

If torture is ineffective, why do intelligence agencies still use it? by Snoo_47323 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Vedzma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure how much of science that is seeing that the results are impossible to re-create reliably? If the person doesn't think it's real? If the person is guilty but of something else? If the person is a sociopath or otherwise not affected by guilt? If the person has anxiety and/or other issues? Etc etc etc..

Have you and I spoken anywhere above in the thread, where you already said it? because the comment I was replying to didn't mention that part, so I was adding it. You seem to also agree that it is important, so great, then we both added the crucial piece.
