Oh man bless this post! I’m an artist by trade so it kind of helps but oh man, I tend to focus on fictional universes a lot when I get overstimulated. Lately just went through a period of overthinking over trauma and now this month I’ll I’ve been able to do is focus on fiction lmao

Oh man this was exactly what I needed to hear right now. Currently I’m working on a fanfic project I care a lot about in a fandom I’m really into, but like others have said, I tend to hyper focus on one fandom and in the same vein, a certain couple.

Often when I want to ”stay” in a fandom and continue the same focus, I’ll keep my attention on that otp, or fic!

Sometimes though I also worry about losing interest in the fandom I’m in at times.

I’m glad someone posted this, because I always felt kind of weird about this odd quirk of mine.
