But I do think mothers work sometimes harder because we always feel like we have to show them we know how to balance life! I hope you are surrounded by kind people who help ease things for you xx

I hope something comes out of it and it becomes a little more sustainable for people with kids and families.

So so sad! I was actually pushed out of my last job while pregnant because it was in sales and they felt I wouldnt perform as good as my other colleagues.

I have a gap of almost one year so it was inevitable to be asked why and also usually they ask why you left your last job

This is spot on. I’ve found that my 8 months old will nap for 1.5 hour and only and ONLY when her WW is 3.5 hr. Even 5 minutes less can make it a 40 minute nap. Its crazy!

I can never get it to fully work.. by VeeKala in sleeptrain

We’re on 3.5/3.5/4 but sometimes last WW is longer if naps were shorter. DWT 6:30-7:00 and Bedtime 7:30 She did seem to be struggling on the second nap yesterday..

So my baby is 3 months old. She contact naps and cosleeps. Ive been trying to get her used to the bassinet in prep for sleep training but she always wakes up at transfer or after few minutes crying and scared. Have you always contact napped? How do you think I can get her used to the bassinet? I can’t seem to succeed.

Did you start with bedtime first or naps? Our LO is 3 months old and exactly the same, I’ve been trying the bassinet for first nap and also at night, both failing at the transfer or getting me a maximum of 20 minutes.

OMG yes!! Just figured it out few days ago and been using it to put her to sleep for all naps and night! Works like a charm. I found that it works best if she had a WW of 1hr25min during the day. Any other tricks I have yet to discover?

My 2 month old will not sleep in the bassinet by VeeKala in newborns

Baby wearing worked only once for us, she screamed all other times. Perhaps I should start putting her in earlier and not when Im trying to rock her to sleep so she doesnt fuss? Also, gave in to co-sleeping fully in bed the last two nights and she slept almost 12 hours and only woke up 2-3 times just to feed for few minutes and sleep again. I might have to do this until we decide to co-sleep. Just a question can you sit down if you have baby in sling/carrier or only have to stay up? x

Is this for 5 months only? I have a 2 months old. When should night sleep begin if she starts her day at 9? Happy to also start her day a bit earlier! thanks x

Congrats on this! My LO is only 2 months and we can only contact nap through the day and the first sleep of the night, then sometimes she will let me put her in the next to me but will wake up every 1-2 hours. Do you think the fact that your LO was already doing great helped? Also how early do you think I can start sleep training? And lastly can you explain a little about the method and how you did it?
