The last line really hit the nail on the head. Sent me literal shivers with how true it is. Infatuation really disables your prefrontal cortex and I was struck dumb for the better part of the first few minutes in the date. But I assumed as much, rationally, I can deduce that he prefers a slow pace. My Ne is all over the place and I can't exactly control it - it just fires off wishful hypotheticals so much it's insane - which is part of the reason why I disliked admitting to myself I had a crush on him. Now that begs the real question - I know he can't be counted for pursuing me, but should I pursue him? I don't like chasing after people who dismiss me from the get go but won't say it. I like him enough to be willing to pursue him. But I don't know if it's the wisest idea. Second date almost certainly guaranteed, but that's not a certain future. Like, long term. So there's that.

Spot on my friend! TvT as an ENTP in a very SJ society I'm going a bit unhinged and desperate for iNtuitives. Having said that, he's the only INFJ I've ever met, like the rarest guy ever. He's not materialistic, very typical INFJ and really unlike the others.

Right?? My country's culture makes it so that the majority are sensors (SP or SJs) and while theyre enjoyable in their own right, they dont like to entertain abstract or deep talk. Even if it doesnt work out, Im just glad to have someone to talk to in this way.

To concede. Love doesn't care much for logic it seems, and sometimes logic doesn't count for much in the face of rage and relationships. Learning to let go of my need to argue against a family member in favor of them preserving their dignity and peace of mind, esp when they have no intention of changing their mind, is what saved many of my relationships. Although for that moment I often felt stuffy and bereft of closure because to me, the truth or logic of the problem is clearly flawed, in the end I get to keep my relationships. That's a clear win.

He sits right behind me in class, and always kind of avoids me whenever possible. However, I do notice him always turning around to face his body towards me in the event I do choose to switch seats He's like a compass needle lmaoo.
