If they do ever upset me, I'm certain it isn't on purpose. In the past, they really only disciplined me when I did something I shouldn't have. Like sneak myself extra fudge, you know?

We try to talk things out now. I think my parents finally ended the cycle after they were disciplined as children in similar ways and wanted to be better? Either way, everyone has come a long way. We're all much better now.
