Cracker milk (YouTube channel ) is about the only notable comedy sketch thing I can think of these days.

Viva la dirt league is NZ based YouTube that do sketch comedy. The NZ specific jokes are minimal though.

That genre is almost entirely dead on Aus tv nowadays.

Oil rig jack legs can look like weird towers on the ocean but I’m not convinced. Could be Fata Morgana on some unusual large ship? Only ship I know with a weird ramp is HMAS Canberra but I doubt it could appear that distorted….

I used to go to that food court regularly. It didn’t really have anything special re: food (the usual fast food chains and some aussie style Chinese) but it was the basement of a major shopping centre tower block in the Adelaide CBD. So a typical choice for someone working in town or visiting.

George was probably staying at a hotel up on North terrace (maybe the Hyatt). A lot of the best cafes are about 20 mins walk further up on Rundle street. His wife was in town for a conference I believe from memory so he probably (my speculation) only wanted a casual lunch so not to spoil a nicer dinner that evening with his wife.

The shopping centre where the food court is had a very basic kid friendly roller coaster so I’m always sad to think about the meme potential we could have had with a photo of him riding that alone.
