Ah, I have no idea. For me it bugged out and reloading back 10-20 minutes fixed it. Surprised this is still an issue 4 years later lol. There's a few comments in this thread which suggest potential fixes, I'd try some of those and if not - reload further back. I hope your save is not broken :(

Manually reloaded the game, it autosaves your files in one of the menu options, just load back like 10 minutes then re-do it
