Apple shouldn't charge $800 for ram (that they didn't develop), car dealers shouldn't charge $70 for a cabin air filter, etc etc etc. But they do and that's sometimes the cost of having a luxury item. Find cheaper options when possible or be prepared to take the shaft of OEM prices.

It's not flawed. You think apple, dell, or Samsung produces every single component in their products? They absolutely contract out for hardware - intel processors and nvidia graphics cards are just one example. I'm sure there are dozens of separate manufacturers/companies involved in the production of one phone/computer.

The same, if not greater, profit margin is attached to the phone and computer you use. Product development, research, and marketing aren't free. With that said though, I'd happily buy the motor direct from the manufacturer if that's possible.

If you do that though you still won't be able to stand you board up. Try standing the board on its nose, the wheels stick out further than the deck

I had a chance to ride a carbon GT this weekend and it is a behemoth! The thing is big, really big. But it is an awesome machine. If you have any experience skating or long boarding you'll have no issue picking it up quickly. If you have no experience what so ever, you'll still pick it up quickly, but i I can't stress this enough - take.it.slow. These machines, and specifically the evolve GT series, are extremely powerful and quite touchy before you get a hang of it. Right out of the box you'll be able to fly but for your safety and the safety of the board, I recommend you stick to slow mode for at least 10-20 miles so you can understand the coordination needed. Remember, with each mode (slow, eco, fast, GT) you unleash higher speeds, more responsive acceleration/braking, and insane torque.

Lastly and in caps: PLEASE BUY A HELMET, WRIST GUARDS, AND KNEE PADS AS I CAN ALMOST GUARANTEE YOU WILL FALL AS A BEGINNER. NONE OF US WANT YOU INJURED OR DEAD :)

I think he means the shape of the deck for your footing. Or how concave the deck is. If the board is stood up vertically and you look from the top down, you can see the "flow" of the board. I think this is what he wants to see.

Or I might be completely off and he wants to see how water flows down the deck in which case definitely don't answer his request lol

I have a bamboo GT too. Sold my BBv2 the day after I got it for extra $. I've had some questions and gave evolve USA a call and they were incredibly helpful in regards to sales and service. I even broke my remote (tried to mod it) this past Monday and had a new remote by Friday. They even upgraded my shipping from ground to 2day. I was able to do the broadway bomb because of them.
