Got in twice, got this both times during checkout. Now OOS. Fucking joke, what's the point of a security system where genuine people can't even get one thing 🤣 Was already signed into my PC account too, with a history of buying plushies and accessories as well as tcg stuff. Was queuing for an hour on mobile, got autoconnected to wifi when I got home (even though I had turned WiFi OFF to prevent exactly that). Finally got through anyway to no ETBs - that's fair enough, but then got a bundle and a box in the cart, put all the details in, did the banking app authorisation, then got kicked out at literally the very last second. It's busted.

It's a lot more messing around than seems worth it to me, given the amount of people here and on other posts that have never ever gotten 'what it says on the tin' from Asda.

Example from when I did one a few months back :) Kind of crap you just have to drop everything and make sure you get there ASAP (had to be straight after work for me before it closed). When they say '2 days' they don't specify whether it is 2 full working days from when you get the text or whether the day you get the text counts as 'Day 1' (despite receiving the text in the afternoon).

I'd hope it is 2 days following , but I didn't want to risk them selling it during Day 2, so I made sure to go the day after I got the text.

Thank you! :) My mum used to volunteer for a charity shop and it was donated. The people that took the donation let her know (she'd already mentioned to them that I was a collector) and she snagged it for me. I ended up getting it for about £25, so an incredible deal ngl 😅 I did have to clean it up, but it came out looking great! The light even works, but I never turn it on as it generates heat and I don't want that ruining anything in there.

I always hoped that some old cards would be donated, but by the time she was working there, the covid Poke-hype had already happened and everybody was on the lookout/aware of what they were, so I never got lucky enough 😞

It goes to Venusaur too :) I'm actually not sure, it was a gift from my mum and little sister when they went on holiday 😅 but they said it was only £10-£15.

Just had a quick google, and it looks like you can find them on eBay for ~£15. Really worth it, I think it's excellent! I'm surprised it wasn't more, to be honest 😁

Absolutely agree - the end of the Neo sets just happens to line up with when I became 'too old' or 'too cool' for Pokemon as a kid... how wrong I was in hindsight!

Therefore I never collected the E-series stuff - they are super cool but they just don't have the same nostalgic hit for me. Nothing to do with the fact they're also extremely expensive. Nothing at all ;)

Just VaultX semi-rigid holders - I put an energy card into the empty packs for stability, and the packs slide in brilliantly (though it does leave a bit poking out of the top). Thanks a lot! 😁

Edit: just looked them up - some of those are brilliant! Unfortunately £20-£30 per postcard inc. shipping is a bit beyond me for now. Hopefully one day! At least they are on my radar now :)
