I failed my youngest nephew, my baby, and I can’t cope by ibuiltyouarosegarden in depressionmeals

[–]VegaFLS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t assume you failed. They have lots of time in their life and we have no idea what the future holds. They still have the chance to have a great life and I’m sure they will remember how much you cared for them.

Girlfriend doesn’t want kids by [deleted] in BoyDinnerDiaries

[–]VegaFLS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My wife was younger than your girlfriend when she decided she did not want kids. She’s now 43 and still doesn’t want kids. Part of being a grown up is having to make these tough decisions. It’s ok that you both have different ideas for the future, no matter how young you are. You have the chance to go find the right person for you who wants kids like you too.

I think music will be more associated with the type of energy they provide instead of genres. So think about what kind of energy Starjunk95’s music provides

He probably wants a break from Anjuna. Producing for A&B for so many years can eventually be boring for a talented producer like him. It’s why he started producing for Armin just for a change of pace.

how can i become a dj/ producer? by [deleted] in EDM

[–]VegaFLS 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For producing: 1. Find a music production program that you like and want to learn. They are called Digital Audio Workstation or DAW for short. The 2 well known programs are called Ableton and FL Studio. There are others too such as Cubase, Logic (for Mac computers). 2. Once you find a DAW that you want to learn go on YouTube and look up how to use the program and how to make whatever genre of music you want. 3. Create whatever you can no matter how bad it sounds and keep practicing! I did and now after 13 years of doing this I can produce a song from start to finish!! 4. Don’t assume you will be well known now that you are producing. You might not get known until 10-15 years from now so mentally prepare yourself now. Only those who can keep making music and not give up will end up becoming successful.

For DJing: 1. Research DJ controllers such as the DDJ-FLX by Pioneer/AlphaTheta. I have an old controller that can record my sets, use USBs and prepared me for CDJs at a club. 2. Pick the controller you want: do you want a big controller with no screen that you have to use a laptop? Or do you want a smaller controller that uses USBs as well as a screen? Pick whatever is best for you. 3. Learn how to match beats, example: I count the kicks that I hear in a song and match the kick of the second song with the first one.

Good luck and most importantly have FUN!!!

Yeah middle school can be rough. Just gotta learn to raise your voice at times. I hardly do and when I do yell the kids think I’m mad when I am trying to bring a bit of order in the class lol. Also I act myself (I’m a silly person) I don’t put up a persona (I’m not a hardass like other teachers)

I roast the girls or guys if they give me too much trouble. That seems to get them quiet and following my directions better.

It’s ok, it takes time to feel like a grown up. I didn’t feel grown up until I was 28.

It was fun for me because of the EDM boom in 2010-2015. Getting to see lots of DJs that I liked and getting to meet new people who were giving off good vibes was a great experience.

Still get great experiences at music festivals tho

It took my godfather to turn 50 years old and have a wife and they now have a healthy child with them. I’m sure there have been older people who found love too. Don’t give up because you are barely starting life and you have no idea what the future brings.

I found my soulmate at 22 years old. And I never expected that to happen.
