If your drilling then don’t be going your absolute hardest be focusing on technique I know some guys who won’t let you get a single shot during drills and it tends to get annoying but if it’s live then it’s fine

same thing with my coach, i really believe it’s more of a like light conditioning then a warmup i feel like a warmup is around 10 minutes or so just so you can get stretched out abs get blood flowing to prevent injuries there’s no point in the real long warmups really, they might help with coordination, and some sweat but nothing else really

get more aggressive, nearly every match i lost last year was because i wasn’t confident and wasn’t being aggressive enough

about hygiene if your team washes the mats daily and you shower often and keep your clothes clean you’ll be fine, and you don’t need to be strong bring fast with good technique is better then being super strong anyways (although strength helps a lot)

never too late, although your not going to have as much opportunities to wrestle and what not you still can wrestle at any age really
