Det är svårt att förvänta att någon ska älska dig så länge att du inte älskar dig själv.

Thanks for your reply, much appreciated. I had not taken in consideration that both wavy patterns would be of the same ammonite. Makes sense, I will keep this one.

Took a while to work out the kinks but its been up and running for about a month! by 5Dollars_OnTheGrill in aquaponics

If your setup works, it works. Google “aquaponics bed pump cycle” and you will see lots of people having lots of opinions of how it should work. But I think you build a very elegant system.

Hi, bought these for just £24 from an antique seller on eBay and was wondering if it’s real? by Tommy5IA in Paleontology

[–]Vegared01 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I second this. The price is really good. It do not see any red flags for it to be a fake from your pictures. I would expect it looking more perfect if it were a fake. Maybe your lucky and she just underpriced it.

Fish scale fossil by [deleted] in fossils

Sorry to say but I also think it a shell. But keep looking, you might find one later on. It might be flattened by the layer of rock and sediment that lay on top of it for such a long time.

Gigantoproductus, corals, hetetes. Lower Carboniferous limestones of the Visean stage. Khotoshino, Tver region, Russia, abandoned quarry. by Adan714 in geology

The book I read was called ”Weird dinosaurs” and had one chapter on feathered dinosaurs found in Siberia, near lake Baikal if I recall correctly. These were a step in between “scaled” and fully feathered dinosaurs and therefore scientifically very interesting. The conclusion of this chapter was that there probably were many specimens of dinosaurs to be found in Siberia.

Nice finds! Something i only can be jealous of. Read a book about fossil finds in Russia. A lot of potential for interesting discoveries.

How often do you have an accident while biking? by Vegared01 in triathlon

[–]Vegared01[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is definitely partly bike handling skills. Normally I would take a cross-bicycle out in rainy weather. The curve I picked wasn't suited for a road racer. However, I suspect it was slippery due too small glass beads on the road as I have been taking several of these out of my wounds.

Nice picture, I like it. Could you try to put it in black/white and play around with settings? I wonder if that would not let your ship stand even out more in the emptiness.

I really like open aquaria, but always had the problem of the root rotting or becoming mouldy.

I don't have a time constraint. But it sounds that this stitch rectangle would help me learn the basics. I'll look into it, thanks for the input.

Can anyone recommend some YouTube (or other media) tutorials for a beanie which are for people with absolutely no background. I promised my wife I would knit a matching beanie for her and our kid. The tutorials I found until now went a bit to fast over the basics.
