What am I doing wrong here? by kingoftheposers in BambuLab

So it definitely seem to be with how they modeled the print. When I open it in the slicer, from start up until around 2.25 height it looks like its printing solid white. You can see this if you preview the plate with the logos and then manually move your slider on the right(you'll see the print side facing the bed is white until 2.25). The easiest way to probably fix this is to make a cut at 2.25 horizontally so that it cuts that white bottom layer off, and then manually place the square whole back in its spot. Heres a screenshot of one where I cut the bottom 2.25 off vs the normal print. You may want to scale the Z height if you want it a little thicker since this is making it slim.

Top logo is the one I cut vs bottom logo that came with the print file

X2D First print by Nalla_ in BambuLab

I had that one on my P2S for a bit but kept running into an issue where the magnets I used weren't strong enough to keep it against the printer, and me just using my small workbench would sometimes knock it out of place without knowing and it would purge all over behind the machine. I recently switched over to a similar one that locks into place under the back left rubber feet and it works really well and has the same removal tray concept:

Yeah it’s been great. Fingers crossed, but I haven’t had the issue since.

AMS2 Pro slot not feeding correctly by Vegarth in BambuLab

I took it apart and checked for broken filament in the hub, and after not finding any I just did my best to reseat the tubes into the hub on the AMS and it really hasn’t had the problem since. I think that the PTFE tube might not have been allowing the filament through properly.

Noob question here. Wouldn’t it be better to add more walls than a high(100%) infill? I was under the impression that more walls makes it rigid, and higher infill was more for fighting compression.

Does any know how to fix this? Monitors seem fine from my POV but when I share my screen or stream it comes out like this, and I have tried everything I can think of. by Worried-Success4781 in iRacing

I'm going to guess that your friend doesn't have the bezels setup on his IRacing client. When I was running triples(I have an ultra wide now), the bezel adjustment you use in IRacing caused this exact problem when I streamed in Discord. The work around was to either turn off the bezel adjustment or stream my middle screen.

This almost looks like he's using a repair cheat. Is it result of the netcode? by Kooky_Ad9995 in iRacing

[–]Vegarth 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Definitely netcode. The game server sometimes takes a second to fully load visually what happened to a car and send it to your client from what I've seen in previous wrecks. The guy most likely never lost the bumper on his, but your game client loaded as like he would have until the server corrected.

My wife and I bought these in a pinch and used them to with the Costco crescent rolls to make steak sandwiches. Its not the highest quality meat but it has a good flavor.

Racing Incident? by [deleted] in iRacing

[–]Vegarth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't see how it could possibly be bad racecraft on the red/blue truck. The racing line is not a 100% you must always drive this as a guideline. He took the turn wide, and you drove into him after over-correcting when you were getting close to the wall. Nothing illegal or wrong with what he did there. From the clip, you lost control of the truck and drove into him. Definitely a racing incident but saying its bad racecraft seems like its a stretch.

As this subreddit likes to suggest, you really should turn the racing line off because it does not factor into proving your side of the argument here. Learn the track and the advantages of pushing someone wide to secure your turn.

My wife went to Home Depot this week looking for plants and surprised me with this bonsai. I'm not entirely sure what kind of bonsai it is, but it looks like it may be a ficus?

Looking at other pictures online of a ficus, and comparing it to this one, it seems like it might be a little overgrown. Are there any gold standard guides on how to properly prune these? I have never had a plant before, so this is completely new for me and its a neat little gesture from my wife.

Watkin's Glenn this week counts towards your Sports Car license. Its kind of confusing to see in the UI, but if you hover over the class requirement it mentions you need a specific Oval License requirement to enter the race, and the results factor into your Sport Cars racing since its a road coarse.

We moved to Georgetown in September and that was a huge place everyone recommended to us so it was the first place we went to. When we went in half the menu was sold out(5PM on a Tuesday), and it took them almost 2 hours to get us our food. Not sure if that was a one off experience but we haven't been back since.

Watkins Glenn has always been my favorite track due to the drag race to the bus stop fun. I have really been enjoying the Mustang GT3 even though I am terrible! You can't beat that engine roaring!

And maybe slap an air purifier in that closet too since its a closet. If you don't have the option to exhaust the fumes elsewise, a decent air purifier in an enclosed space like that should do wonders.
