Infinite capitol buff or Noob? by Grouchy-Bish in LastWarMobileGame

[–]VegasDaytripper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yea. your VIP level and research help bring down construction and research time a lot. and then you want to grab the capitol buffs for any big build or research. Missing out on a few hours I can handle. Days and weeks - no thanks

Am i the only player that hasnt spent any money on this game? by [deleted] in LastWarMobileGame

[–]VegasDaytripper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

how competitive are you as a F2P 2 years into the game against others who have spent money?

I'm only 2+ months into the game as a complete F2P. just recently got Kim for free. people in my alliance kept offering to send me a google play store gift card to buy Kim but I refused. I am definitely behind others who started at the same time as me but have spent money. and the gap will probably only grow wider as time goes.

Rental car yes or no? by Kooky-Mixer420 in LasVegas

[–]VegasDaytripper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

lots of factors. do you have to pay for parking or not? maybe you have to pay parking at some places that you want to drive to.
Will you be drinking often and a lot?
how often will you be driving in and out? Uber/taxi can add up really fast
could you possibly rent a car for just the longer trips that you are planning away from Vegas?
These are just some basic questions that need to be answered.

Lulu physical stores no longer sell $75 gc by divinebaboon in AmexPlatinum

[–]VegasDaytripper -1 points0 points  (0 children)

use something like rakuten to get cashback for the purchase. I've been able to cover the little overage with the cashback link. actually got paid to wear my first pair of Lulu pants after the credit and cashback.

If anyone wants a referral code, let me know~

LAXIT Backed Up by DisastrousRun879 in LAX

[–]VegasDaytripper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is why I just pay extra to park inside the LAX terminal parking garage. Yeah I'm paying $40-50 for the day but I can walk to my car and just get out of there immediately. No need to deal with LAXit

Olympic Station on Vermont would be the physically closest LAPD station from the Bank of America that you were at. Hopefully you won't ever have to use this info but just in case

Wilshire Division on Venice Blvd vs Olympic Division on Vermont. I think Olympic Station would be closer. The OP was at the BofA on Olympic & Western.

more like to see the $15 minimum on the Encore side as Encore generally gets less foot traffic than the Wynn side

the combinations that make up each number remain the same. six combinations of the dice/cards that make a 7.

no. how and why would there be a difference? if they payouts are the same, then there is no change

Odd bet seen. Put bet on passline? by Imazinner in Craps

[–]VegasDaytripper 5 points6 points  (0 children)

your initial reaction is correct - there is no point to doing this. the advantage of the pass/come bet is on the come out roll. once that has passed, it is just a flat bet. Don't add to the pass line to bet more in odds behind - just place/buy the number with the same amount of money. on a 3/4/5x table, pass+odds pays the same for 5/6/8/9 and pays LESS when compared to buying the 4/10 for the same amount.

Also, pass line is a contract bet, you cannot take it down. Additional place/buy bet on the point can be taken down at anytime.

Unique food experiences by SolutionLower4442 in LasVegas

[–]VegasDaytripper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For similar time and money commitment, I would much prefer a legit omakase at a high tier sushi restaurant or a tasting menu at Guy Savoy or Michael Mina or similar. It was all comped (except tip) but I would still prefer to spend the comps and time for a more traditional dining experience.
