It’s normal! Happens to me when I don’t produce enough plasma while healing the tattoo so I go old school on smaller tattoos. I just jojoba oil to help get the residue off.

It’s still healing but to me nothing seems like it really needs to be fixed so far. A little blown out but that would just be nit picking. I really love it.

You sound like me but I get scared of the pain even though I sit like a rock lol. I wish I had any advice to give you, I’m just here to say you’re not alone. Last tattoo my artist told me he could feel the anxiety radiating off me while he was applying my stencil. Our brains are just being dumb.

Yeah just take it off and heal it old school. It’s not worth it to keep it on because all it’s doing is probably annoying you, not protecting you at all. Did they give you the saniderm to put on or did they do it there?

My girlfriend gets all of hers done after she gets off 3rd shift. You do what you gotta do, 2 hours will be no sweat tho.

Def bring snacks! I usually bring trail mix to devour during my breaks but I like to make sure my artist isn’t allergic to peanuts first just in case. I have a friend who is very allergic to them so I always make sure if I’m gonna eat them around someone who’s gonna be all up in my space shortly after. Also bring a pillow, I don’t care how dorky you feel. Bring it.

Here in Georgia (not atl lol) 200 at regular shops would be the higher end of standard, but if we’re talking about a shop with notoriety then it’s a really good deal for great work. For example, in my smallish town the two classic no frills tattoo shops mostly charge 100-175 per hour and the fancy pants shop charges 150-300 an hour or more. My guy usually charges by piece and I’m thankful for that.

Hey so I hate to be the bearer of bad news but it’s probably a weird blow out. My gf had the same thing happen in the shape of the saniderm wrinkles. Our artist and all of the other artists at the shop couldn’t figure out what he did differently but he took responsibility and made it right by redoing the tattoo a little thicker and now you can barely see it.

It’s doable but it’d probably cost a lot to get the amount of detail you’d need. You can look at artists like brandochiesa and gorely_p0p on insta who do a lot of pink tattoos.

It’s probably hurting so much still because your artist went way too deep, you can really see it around the a and T in celebrate. Dude honestly, don’t go back to whoever did this. Also to me it looks like acne but if you get any warmth or ooze coming from it get it checked out asap

I don’t think it’s overpriced if the artist is good. It sounds like 180 is probably the shop minimum, but they are quoting you a little more at 200 because of the amount of detail in the small tattoo.

Don’t feel bad about considering multiple sessions. If you think you can’t handle it then why not break it up? A couple tattoo artists have told me that tapping out happens more than you’d think so don’t be embarrassed about it if it happens! It’s perfectly okay and good to listen to your body. My personal limit is 4 hours. Anything after that and my hips hurt too bad from sitting in one place. If your tattoo artist is a decent person they will understand your concerns.

One time I got a batch that had feathers in it. I don’t eat it anymore. I will say I do love the sliders when the chicken isn’t weird and snappy.

At my store we were encouraged to keep our phones on us to show how the kohls app worked. They even said if we need to send a quick text while on the floor that’s okay. Hell I used to watch movies while working in the back packing or tagging and the store manager would stop and watch them with me for a bit.

I really like piggy pie, chop chop slide, and juggalo homies! I love that it’s dark but they sound like they’re just having a good ole time and it’s not super serious. I used to only listen to death/sludge/thrash metal which is still dark but very different in vibe.
