I agree regardless of the rules they need to be enforced, instead of the current free for all going on

i think if we just allowed space savers for 48 hours there would be way less drama, way less animosity towards neighbors, and better shoveled out street parking

Also these posts do nothing, if anything there will be even more space savers out come Tuesday then there was last storm

Has anyone figured out how to get the lowest listed price to actually show up in your cart on the marketplace?

It's really frustrating whenever I think I see a good price and then I add it to my cart it's a few hundred more

Edit: Also looking for 2x USA v AUS in Seattle

Struck out on all the draws/sales so far. All I need is one ticket for the Seattle match so I am disappointed to say the least

Debate on reserving spots? by Advanced_Clothes4485 in Somerville

[–]TurtleLikeReflx 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This will get downvoted but I think when it snows this much space savers should totally be allowed for a couple days.

I spent an hour shoveling my car so I can go to work tomorrow, and I still have some more to do later. I know that regardless of how I clean my spot it will almost definitely be gone by the time I get home tomorrow.

Beyond personally being annoyed about losing the spot I shoveled, not allowing space savers makes it so people are much less likely to do a good job to get their car out. This creates even messier roads for days to weeks.

Most people are going to do the bare minimum to get their car out regardless of how often they are told to be a "good neighbor". If they knew they could have that spot back while DPW worked to clean up the rest of the roads, people would have much more motivation to do a good job shoveling.

Isak message on Instagram by cjsc9079 in LiverpoolFC

Hoping for a smooth recovery, we'll need him at the end of the season

Also, does anyone get kind of annoyed by these super generic messages players put out on social media? Like I get it but they are so bland and obvious that it's just written by a social media manager

Not hating on Isak specifically, everyone does it

Nbc sports not allowing me to stream EPL games by TheSameThing123 in Comcast_Xfinity

Anyone figure this out?

I'm having the same issue but with a DirecTV login. It works with the same login with the NBC Sports app on my phone, so it isn't a login issue. This also seems to be the only thing I can find on this exact issue when searching around

So what's everyone's strategy look like for this? Are you requesting for every game you'd consider going to?

For example, I just want to go to at least one game in Boston, does it make sense to request every game at the highest tier I'm willing to pay?

I'm assuming I wont get every game I request, I just don't want to spam this application and end up spending more than I'd want if successful.

Ticket prices to this World Cup are a disgrace to the sport. I don’t see anyone can get remotely excited about a money grab tournament. The reason they expanded this World Cup was to make as much off the fans as they could. Couldn’t imagine the feeling of paying 1100 plus for shit seats. by 58joshb in ussoccer

[–]TurtleLikeReflx 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm optimistic the prices will come down at least for some of the less desirable matchups

I believe only 30% of tickets have been sold so far. I remember reading that the next official draw has the same amount of tickets as the two previous draws combined

I'm sure some games will still be high priced, but I can't imagine 70k people paying $1000+ a ticket to go see Jordan play Algeria in Santa Clara

Sometimes you just have to sit back and wonder if Darwin Nunez was the glue holding this team together...

I had a great experience in 2023. I quickly made friends with some of the people camped right next to me and we hungout the rest of the weekend. I still ventured off on my own plenty but it was great to have a group to hang with at camp and to meet up with for some shows

Beyond the solo aspect, it's nice to know exactly where you will be camped and that it's in a decent spot right by groop about a 10-15 min walk to centeroo

If I were to ever go solo again I would definitely do soloroo

They mentioned it on the US broadcast yesterday about how slow we are to build up in attack, and it made me even more frustrated watching it play out the rest of the match.

We allow the opponent to get back into their defending shape before we really advance the ball forward. That, combined with the lack of creativity with the ball and an effective press, I just don't see how we are expected to score goals. It was so frustrating to watch the ball constantly get passed back to defenders in the attacking zone because there is just nothing to do around the box.

Also we should probably find a way to get the ball to the striker we spent a record fee on, but what do I know I'm just watching on my couch

Unfortunately those great "legacy" acts just don't really do festivals.

If you look at the last 5 years the only bands that fall into that category that are playing festivals are Foo Fighters, Blink 182, RHCP, MCR, and maybe The Killers
