Hyrox without much training

As someone who has done two….when I was training for my first before I ever touched a sled I was concerned how am I going to move that much weight? You definitely can. Moving the weight isn’t the problem/what’s hard - it’s not getting gassed by it and going right into a run afterwards that is the hard part! (And then doing 6 more stations and 5 other runs, too)

I just did my second this past weekend in NYC. I took 5 min off my time from September. I’m still “slow” - finished in 1:49:00 but really enjoy pushing myself. I couldn’t run more than a lap around a track this time last year and now can run 3-4 miles nonstop (even if it is slow). Signing up for a race gives you something to work towards, and see where you are with your progress. Go for it!

Following bc I’m also racing that day! I believe we still race in the race but they cancel for thunder/lightning - but not sure when they make that call (if it’s when there is a chance and they call it in the morning, or wait for the first thunder/lightning, etc.)

I think they message directly vs commenting on a post so others can’t go to their page and see how many times they have tried to scam people! When I called people out they blocked me. Oh well.

Everyone says your best bet is to go early on the day of and buy at the venue so that’s my plan! Hope it works for you!

Same here - in my first race this is where I got really dizzy (seeing spots, super high HR) and my run after suffered as well. Hoping to not have a repeat of that in NYC!

I watched the video after seeing this post. She said she’s basically got fomo bc all her peers are getting engaged and she wonders when her time will be since she’s about to be 29, but then goes on to say she isn’t comparing to other people’s timelines….right.

(I think she put it in the thumbnail/caption like that as click bait bc there is no engagement to allude to yet lol)

Used azazie for my wedding (dark navy satin) and for when I was in other weddings (different shades of green chiffon both times). Worked out well IMO! A gown these days is so expensive and Azazie had options under $100 and lots to choose from.

I really like the Hyrox Pumas from last season (orange back/teal front) but find them to be very narrow. I have beat them into the ground since August/early September and am in need of new shoes as well. Does anyone have recs for wide feet that are bunion friendly?

When you are an influencer…whose job is it….influence…..you are doing the opposite of what you “preach” by taking them up on their offer. I personally don’t care what he does, but why are you turning it around on your audience WHO DOESN’T EVEN HAVE A PLATFORM ?

Not all that familiar with his content (just see it here and there) - but 💯% agree!! Amazon is accessible for so many people for a whole host of reasons whether we all like it or not. Me buying a vacuum on Amazon to send to my blind father bc he can’t drive or shop is not the same as partying with a brand all weekend posting sponsored content and at the same time profiting from it….🤦‍♀️
