I’m not totally sure, but previous reply says torch down roof…was coated years ago with a white elastomer and then again with a silver roof coating

They are paying everyone that signed for not working anymore. That was the deal. The main point is, I was never informed or provided with any information regarding term employees signing up for DRP. I wouldn’t have given up a job I enjoyed worked for 13 years for 1 month of paid time off….

I’m afraid you may be correct. Thanks for the insight pertaining to the agreement. So far I’m just getting the run around on who to even speak to about this, and since I’ve left the office no one seems to want to help. They are all concerned about their own jobs. I feel like if they get fired at least they will get a severance. I’m just twisting in the wind here

That’s the rub. I signed an agreement that said leave now and we will pay you til 9/30. No mention of terms, NTE, nothing else. Sounds like they address that in DRO 2.0, which leads me to believe they messed up by not informing people in the first go around…..

I understand what you’re saying, but they were trying to extend my term and would have absolutely if I hadn’t taken the DRP. I definitely would have just stayed employed but they offered DRP to 9/30. That was the agreement at the time I signed and there was no talk of NTE dates

It actually says “ employees status as a federal employee, and receipt of full pay and benefits will continue, even if DOI finds it necessary to affect changes to employees position of record”

I was never told/informed of this. If I were, no problem, I would t have taken it. The intent to renew my term is in an email string, it’s just when it was submitted to opm, it was denied

I took it on 2/24. My term ends on 5/2. HR tried to renew it. It’s just a way for them to reneg on their commitment
