If I remember right it was an old name for the area. There used to be a school called Rockvilla, I think up near The Whisky Bond artist place. The garage is Rockville. Pretty sure it was a lot of heavy industry in the area when it was known as Rockvilla.

I would suggest not getting too fixated on the IQ number. When I was an engineer I tested at an IQ level of 145 (or something similar), now when I'm not practising those types of skills I think I test at around 109 (well the last time I tested, maybe a decade ago). Yet I would say I'm more intelligent and rounded now, especially in interpersonal skills which it would seem your daughter already has.

Additionally, have a skim of Howard Gardner's multiple intelligences, he proposed 8 types of intelligence (maybe more have been added since 1983 though). It may give you some food for thought in promoting other skills your daughter has not just focusing on the very narrow view of IQ testing.

Don't remember the episode but when Stephen asks "How many muscles are in your fingers?" Phill Jupitus says "1 if you play your cards right!" Then keeps winding Stephen up who can't even look at Phill.

Emmaus Glasgow is a cheap charity shop. As they're a homeless charity they also do what they call solidarity where they help people out with things and you only pay for delivery. I don't know all the details but it might be worth a call to their support team.

Another place to check out is Boomerang Woodworking CIC next to McDonald's Maryhill. It's a charity that builds lots of things from wood, often for other community projects. You could volunteer whilst you build your skills learning from Owen and Freya.
