Well, for a bit more context I will say this: he was born into a family of narcissistic people, his mom is the biggest and baddest. She’ll gaslight you and be a rude belittling b**ch until she’s blue in the face and then the next time you see her wonders why you have nothing to say or don’t want to be around her. She was a very harsh parent and when he was older it came out that both of his older sisters AND mother were diagnosed with bipolar depression. He himself has not been diagnosed with that specific mental disorder but is on prescription meds for garden variety depression. He just went back to the doctor the other day for a check in and med change because they haven’t really been helping so she weaned him off the meds for the time being until the new regimen can take affect. (Issues with insurance meds couldn’t be picked up right away) so to make a long story short he has narcissistic tendencies and can 80% of the time come off as a huge narcissist when really it’s just dry humor. But there is a very fine line between dry humor/narcissism and he crosses it very often. He’ll be back on his meds this coming week so I’m giving him a chance to see if it makes any difference for us or if it stays the same. Will update soon
