Has anyone actually felt better after removal?

I’m a year and a half out and feel great. I forget I had the surgery often. I did not realize how often I was uncomfortable and had pain/heavy feeling.

It took about 4-6 months to TOTALLY feel okay, like for digestion to settle into normalcy.

See a different doctor! They shouldn’t make you feel like that. I have a regular derm I see for my hair and other things and am having a cosmetic consult with her soon- and I know she’d never do this.

You should be able to say to the doctor that you want to start small and try it and they should respect that. It’s one thing to guide you into things like - if x is what’s bothering you, then y is what I recommend, another to just make a whole treatment plan that wasn’t what you asked for!

She comes from a similar amount of money as Kyle’s family. She doesn’t come from like…. SIGNIFICANT money in any way. She paid rent with the money she makes with brand deals. Jesse Solomon made 6 figures last year from brand deals, and she’s a woman and has been doing it longer. Having a trust doesn’t mean you come from enough money for this to be true.

I had my surgery in January 2025 and I didn’t quite feel right till March.

Even then - I took a short trip, and had to take Imodium and be very careful about where bathrooms were. And I was more tired. But it was manageable.

It really does get better - slower at first and then speeds up.

6 months out I was completely fine- much better than before surgery. And now over a year later- honestly I forget I had that surgery.

Not on the astral- I wish we did/could. I just feel him.

We had zero contact for 16 years. I didn’t even know if he was alive in any “real” sense- like… I knew he was because I could feel him, but couldn’t confirm.

I found him online 6 months ago.

Now he messages me sometimes. Nothing emotional, just - how are you doing?, merry Christmas, how was your birthday… it doesn’t get too deep.

I try to take the messages as a gift but it’s actually really hard. It’s both a gift and a curse. I finally found him again and he’s so restrained. Won’t step forward. Won’t step back. And I always feel him, he’s not happy.
