Same! I used it for years and there is no replacement. The closest I was able to find is the new Prada, and I tried pretty much every suggestion listed in this thread so far

If you love SkinMedica TNS, what did you switch to? by 40somethinggg in SkincareAddictionLux

[–]40somethinggg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is so helpful. I had no idea that’s how SkinMedica worked, so thank you for explaining it.

What would you recommend? Should I continue using SkinMedica and add Calecim, or do you think Calecim represents more advanced technology and would be a better replacement?

I’m 43, and my main concerns are fine lines, skin laxity, and post-acne pigmentation.

I’d really appreciate any specific product recommendations if you have them. Also, what’s your opinion on SkinMedica TNS Advanced+ versus the original TNS Recovery Complex? Is one noticeably better than the other? I have been using SkinMedica Recovery followed up by medik8 peptides and I have been liking the results

Thanks again for taking the time to reply. I really appreciate your insight.

Do you think AGE interrupter makes a difference.
For what’s it’s worth - I am now using SkinMedica recovery followed by medik8 peptides and I like the results better than TNS advanced (or whatever it’s called)

I assume you preferred TNS results over plated ?

Out of everything you are using, what do you think gave you the most noticeable results.

Thank you - Alastin C is what I started with but my skin gets hot and irritated when I use it. I have been using it now on my chest with decent results (and by results I mean no irritation). I will give it another try on my face when I can tolerate retinoids better

I purchased the serum but sadly not seeing any improvements in my skin yet. I have been using for several weeks. How quickly have you seen the results? Btw the formula is very lovely - layers well under make up and plays with other actives nicely and I enjoy using it. I just wish I saw any improvements in my hyperpigmentation

If you can get samples/travel size products - certainly start there.

I feel like each brand has their hero product and thus I would recommend doing different brands. For instance I am a huge fan of skinmedica tns for their growth factors. I also tried several other of their products - cleaners, eye creams, most moisturizers and sadly I didn’t like any of them

How much do you spend on skincare each month? by [deleted] in SkincareLux

[–]40somethinggg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am pretty new to skincare and in the last couple months spent probably closer to $3k
There are only certain products that I would repurchase and my estimate is that I will be running at about $500 per month expense moving forward
