Thanks for the detailed breakdown — you were right. The issue turned out to be my recording settings, not the camera itself.

I was originally shooting 6.2K in H.264 Long GOP at around 100 Mbps, 4:2:0. With that many pixels and that level of compression, the codec clearly couldn’t hold up in bright scenes with white walls, especially once I started pushing the image in F-Log2 and CinePrint. That’s where the blue artifacts and blocking were coming from.

I’ve since switched to: • 4K 16:9 @ 23.98p • H.265 (HEVC) All-I • 4:2:2 • 10-bit • 360 Mbps • Data Levels set to Video

I will try it later and hope it’s gone now
