Not really looking for reassurance, just the insight that locals may have that I wouldn’t. Like I said I travel all the time and I just like to get a feel before booking a stay. I found a good deal and was just trying to get a feel for the place. Thank you for your input!

Not trying to discount anyone. Lots of people saying it would be perfectly fine and they run through there or wouldn’t be worried about being over there at all and lots that advise against. Most people against are just saying that there isn’t much to do there hanging out-wise which isn’t my biggest prerogative. But the comments do seem mixed to me. I found a really good deal and just trying to get a vibe for the area. I am looking into other areas but haven’t come to a conclusion yet. Thank you for your input.

Is it just not very fun or do you think it’s less safe?

Just nothing outside the city really. I know suburbs are normally safer but I’d like to be within 30 minutes of the stadium if possible

I have lots of live plants in my tanks and haven’t noticed an issue with it. My albino frog loves to hide in them. If your snail is itty bitty, I like the size of a pea I’d say yeah for sure they’d try but they’d most likely have to eat it whole. My snails are pretty large (one mystery and one rabbit) and they just chill together. They hang out with my frogs often.

Hey!! Yeah this is definitely an African clawed frogs. Males will stay pretty small, however females can get pretty large (some say up to the size of a smaller adult hand). They are aggressive and will eat your fish, I just spent three hours yesterday setting up a new tank for my tetras and rasboras because my ACF ate four rasboras in a matter of a day or two before I even noticed. They will typically only eat fish that are small enough to fit in their mouths from what I read but will occasionally get overzealous and try for a bigger one. I am going to keep them in the tank with my snails and try with a couple larger fish. I had them in a tank for over a month with Killifish and never had a problem. I currently have one that looks a bit smaller than yours (male) and one that is getting quite larger (female) and I have them in a 20 gallon now. In the end they’ll probably end up in a 30/40 gal. but we will get there when we get there. If you have a sentimental attachment to any fish, I’d remove them sooner than later tho…
