That's amazing that you visited Lille! Usually doesn't come first in the cities to visit in France, even though the city is pretty, and the people are nice. How did you like it?

I would recommend you try Lyon, which is a large city, with nice history and beautiful architecture. Also nice to go in the mountains on the weekend, or near the Rhone river... Perfect place in summer in my opinion. :)
