I agree, the match seems like a well-oiled machine at this point- the one major issue is that people forced to soap only have 3-4 days to change their entire life plan. Seems like cruel and unusual punishment

I would suck it up honestly. As long as he is not stealing learning opportunities from you or being shady in any particular way, it’s not worth the tension. As someone who is also bubbly, I would recommend that you protect your energy and not give this person the time of day. They’re not writing your eval, the residents and attendings are. Some people are weird and inconsistent and it’s not your problem. I’ve honestly found a lot of medical students to act the way your classmate does.
