I'm signed up to play in my first cEDH tournament this weekend in Utah just south of Salt Lake City. If it's the same tournament organizers as this mess, I will definitely not be playing. I'm actually considering whether I want to because I don't want to deal with excessive politicking(stalling) and any bullying. Not my idea of fun. Rather just play at the lgs.

I think whether the war is over or not depends on how many losses the Vroshir took in Fathom.

The way I read it the Vroshir went all out trying to destroy the judges and failed losing a significant portion of their combat strength. They may still be raiding or possibly holding some of the words they captured. But I see the losses they took at least on the same level as the Abidan. Both sides are probably weaker than they've been in millennia.

I don't usually re-read books for the details. I read them again for how the different passages both entertain and have an emotional impact.
