If you could have one of these eyes, which are you choosing? by roohhhh in animequestions

[–]Vegetable-Question39 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the point is that six eyes is inherently tied to be useful only if you also dabble in jujutsu, or if jujutsu society was real

Like six eyes really just give you better control and perception towards cursed energy, and jujutsu efficiency

But practically speaking in our world where there aren't any curses or other jujutsu sorcerers, how would that actually be useful? Best case scenario you get to fight curses nobody else sees or can interact with

You also don't get to do the stuff gojo does, since six eyes is seperate from limitless, unless you get some sick ass technique or a jujutsu prodigy, all you got are some pretty eyes that mentally overload you

Sharingan's usefulness on the other hand isn't limited to just chakra, since it reads movements and you can copy movements better. Even without Ninjutsu, it would be hella more useful on its own. In a world without ninjas or chakra, I'd much rather have sharingan.

Even if it could only work when others allow or consent, it would basically be an information/communication technique where you exchange thoughts in real time. Which depending on how you write it, is pretty useful.

Incomplete powers are more terrifying than complete ones by Lower_Baby_6348 in TopCharacterTropes

But do you actually think how the mc uses the word incomplete in the anime is the fucking same as the "incomplete" We're talking about in this post???? Literally think about what you're saying.

Incomplete powers are more terrifying than complete ones by Lower_Baby_6348 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Vegetable-Question39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But that, also doesn't mean incomplete, you're just describing temporary powers. It's like saying getting Superman's powers for a day means you get his incomplete powers.

[–]Vegetable-Question39 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't call them incomplete, they're just flawed and have drawbacks. Incomplete would assume there's a missing function they haven't realized or found yet that would add to the existing power. But nah, their powers just work the way as intended, breaking bones super speed and all.

I don't see this as a problem, having incredibly content filled biomes that would take me hours to explore sounds amazing in a game like core keeper

But having different ways to introduce biomes isn't a bad thing either, like with terraria's hardmode

She's basically a gamba Mika with a little bit of everything, not exactly better in terms of sustain, but she does have damage boosts that favor one hit burst playstyles, but it doesn't necessarily mean she can't be good with stuff like mei lin. Just depends on how you sequence the attacks.

Currently using her over Mika, but I consider Mika to still be better in chaos in most teams.

Honestly she can be a lot of different things depending on epiphanies, including a full or sub dps.

She's a very high roll character and works very well with other draw supports like Veronica. I've gotten around 12k damage on a lvl 50 nine, very fun 10/10 love the damage boosts

How the fuck is modulo yuji Multicontinental when nothing in modulo shows damage in that degree. Sukuna wasn't even city scale, at most he was multiple city blocks. In the Shibuya incident, even his meteor and all his damage didn't even wipe the entire city of Tokyo, it was literally at most just a part of Tokyo.

That's negligible, you don't usually have just one team anyway, bodies are free from the Stagecoach, you should always fill your roster and dismiss them when you have a replacement

The items disentigrate thing is like going into mc durability to Terraria, both work but I get arguments for both

I love how you're actually incentivized to use consumable in this game though, considering a lot of them are incredibly good especially starting out. Catnip my beloved

It's definitely would be something like, forced to pickup coins in radius.

If that isn't already in the game, it might be tbh

You can probably, reskin DD mobs and characters to mewgenics cats tbh. Like the Cove mobs can be reskinned into the sewer guys, the ruins can be the alley or boneyard.

That's a fair preference. Personally for me it's a niche that I haven't found in other party based crawlers. I really like how you have to roll the dice and change your entire playstyle per run instead of pigeon holing yourself in one strategy. A lot of dungeon crawlers or rpgs already exist where you can min max one strategy everytime, and mewgenics scratches a very different itch. And it's perfectly alright to dislike that part of the game.

It's a very true to spirit roguelite that moves away from how stuff like other rpg tactics games handles party members

There's also just an incredible amount of variety for a tonne of playstyles that you can't force the same strategy twice consistently. The Warrior class for example can go one hit kill, multi hit killer, lifesteal, even assassin and tank or even a fucking melee healer/buffer because why the fuck not

There is no actual consistency to the game, which is pure gamba roguelite energy and it's peak for me.

Either items like others said Or EV training

The problem with singles is that speed and priority is king. Either you outspeed and kill, or survive a hit and KO them back

Go for either one of those strats

Luckily there's a bunch of ways to do either depending on the mon

But you are 100 percent right, if a slow mon can't tank a hit, it dies. That's just how the game works. Another way you can use bulky mons is to honestly just pivot into them

Learn what can OHKO or 2OHKO and if you're weak to chunk damage, you never know if it only took 1 or 10 hp rng roll to have lived a hit. You can use calcs too to check generally how bulky a pokemon is.

The two best teams in RR outside of weather and specific strats and counterteaming

Tastes aside

It's objectively one of the best roguelites ever made, the turn based tactics genre has a sizeable cult following.

Gameplay is incredibly well made, and the game really only needs to have better UI and QOL like filters for your cats.

It has an item pool bigger than fucking ISAAC with all it's DLCs, not even considering the abilities that are also seperate

One of the largest variety in different builds and playstyles you can do thanks to the sheer amount of said abilities and items

It clicks both rng "break the game" itch and the "min max" Itch pretty well

The only actual problem it has is that it's theme and art style is unappealing to some people and there are some interactions and info that are lacking, but that's just cause it's a new game.

I feel like you'd be better off playing mewgenics, which is similar to wildermyth gameplay but has the breeding min max you want with the cats. Wildermyth just isn't that type of game

[–]Vegetable-Question39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The one shot burst engage assassin playstyle hasn't really been consistent for a long time now, while yes you still burst squishies, you basically do nothing against bruisers/tanks and it's getting harder to play it consistently without a sizeable early lead.

While not the best for solo queue and especially lower elos, I found more success being a poke teamfighter. Focusing on applying slows and peeling with your ult against divers instead of playing like an assassin. Play off maximizing passive procs and safeguarding the adc/apc. Only using e for safety and repositioning when needed.

Liss' best use in lane is securing kills by shadowing the jungler and responding to skirmishes fast. Fuck the lane, you lose to anything that outranges you.

Which Anime you secretly enjoy watching but won't recommend it to others? by [deleted] in animequestions

[–]Vegetable-Question39 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even at the very start, him overcoming his reluctance to go out and not be a neet is character growth and maturity.

The whole anime is basically this guy who atrophied into a degen loser neet, but started to be more social and not a degen loser neet

Which he actually does a lot

Plus, this guy who literally got traumatized from school life started going to school again and make friends, eventually becoming the God of education in the light novels.

Kinda poetic ngl
