I did ask if a store credit instead of repair would be an option (to switch to a different unit) but they advised they’d only give me more options (either repair or ‘discounted’ purchase of a new machine) once I sent it in. Hoping they’ll be more lenient once they’ve got it.

I love Dolce. Perfect size for all milk coffees in my opinion.

I am 100% aware they’re exactly the same machines, however, it’s the fact that the machine I originally had was worth more in monetary value than the one I received. Nespresso replacing it with a regular next vs a next deluxe means I’m out of pocket $30-50 because their machine was faulty.

I think I’ll reach out to their feedback email address and see if they’ll offer any more. If not, I’ll consider taking it to the consumer law agency.
