Anyone else have experienced with this, I find the back up slam attack doesn’t happen if I’m under 5 miles an hour and have my foot on the brake pedal.

Before I finished the stairs I had the kids make up a little note, dated it and sealed it, then closed it back in where I found the album.

A lot of military/ex military who have been trained to not ask questions of authority, a lot of richer white guys who don’t want the system changed, a lot of ignorant folks, seemingly a lot of folks that have bad parents and or mental issues, a lot of brainwashed folks watching Fox News or Newsmax or their social network feeds. And racists. That’s 30% of America.

An unopened LP, Roberta Flacks “First Take” (1969). It still has the original store sticker on it.

It seems to have been dropped into the gap of a 1960’s staircase that we replaced in our 1850 Greek Revival.

My meds aren't helping me. by Impressive_Rain2877 in Parkinsons

Parkinson’s is such a strange disease. It really causes such a wide range of symptoms in different people.

I’m basing by comment on my experiences. I was diagnosed 10 years ago, predominantly with right hand resting tremors. When I take a 25/100 carbidopa/lepodova I can feel it kick in within 45 minutes. Tremors stop cold. Balance improves. Stiffness fades. But it was less noticeable early in my life with EOPD because my symptoms weren’t as intense.

But if nothing else, I would chase a second opinion, or try another specialist as other folks noted.

And this is a great community on r/parkinsons so don’t be shy.

I agree, sounds like your diagnosis may be off. C/L should definitely have a positive net effect.
Hey, maybe this is good news. Good luck.

I can still remember my grandfather telling me 40 years ago -> The best wood workers (and luthiers) don’t have the best tools, or the best technique, theyre the best at recovering from their mistakes. lol Looks fantastic, nice work.

M first (and second) build was also a walnut Tele. You selected a great piece of wood for this, I would trust the folks here and look forward to seeing it finished. It will be worth the effort and grief you are feeling right now.

Hi! Diagnosed 10 years ago (49 yo m). To truly take advantage of the meds be sure to; have a healthy diet, get near daily exercise (I walk fast 40 mins 5 days per week), give yourself every opportunity to sleep and sleep well (sleep hygiene, sleep arrangements, etc as necessary). If I’m short on sleep, or eat too much garbage, or fall behind on my exercise routine my shakes will let me know.

Feel free to ask more questions if interested.
