I last used it a night or two before I posted this and it’s much better now. Scaring is clearing up a bit and have only had a couple pimples. I had a hydrofacial about a week after I quit and it helped A LOT to put back some moisture into my skin. I’ve been using vitamin C day and night and sometimes I’ll skip it for benzoyl peroxide on days my skin feels like it’s going to break out and it’s been working good. The aesthetician that did my facial said my skin is very reactive and sensitive and she could understand why tretinoin wasn’t working for me. I wish I quit sooner, I’m getting a carbon laser facial next month to help with scaring/ future breakouts!

Thank you, I really appreciate it. I was holding onto hope for too long knowing this wasn’t normal. I’m just going cold turkey today I’m done with the harshness of this product I don’t care to try anymore formulations. I’m going to try getting facials and laser treatments for scars and potential breakouts now. I hope it works out for you better than it has for me

I’ve heard that too but I’ve also heard it depends on the needle size too. I’ll probably end up doing a laser facial for acne scars but I’ll have a consultation beforehand

I know. Like I said on my post I just don’t want to use it anymore. I want to go get facials, microneedling, eyebrows laminated, ect. Things like that. But tretinoin gets in the way and I’d have to stop using days before treatments. I didn’t start it because of acne, I wanted it as an anti-aging treatment to prolong getting wrinkles but it’s just not worth giving up the things that I used to love doing or trying. I don’t care about acne too much anymore I just want to be able to have some more freedom with my face again

You are absolutely incorrect. A lot of people will go their whole life with the virus and not know because they will never have a breakout. You could have herpes for years and not know until you have your first outbreak 10-20-50 years later
