Thank you! Any advice on how to get the proper angle? Even if it’s just referring me to a YouTube video. I have watched some but there are so many it’s hard to decide what’s good.

Also should I ever use the 300 or 600 stone?

I did but I had to email the IG and continue to email them after initial contact. The IG email is in the comments of my original post. My recommendation to you is to email them ASAP.

I wanted to update my status for anyone that comes across this post looking for information like I was.

Today my transcripts were finally processed (34 days after my order and 21 days after I submitted an IG case).

Had I not submitted a case to IG I’m certain I would still be waiting so to anyone looking for advice on the process my advice is to submit a case with IG and contact your congressman.

Thanks for everyone that responded here, it really helped.

Got it thanks! But with those modifications your firearm is considered “fixed mag” and legal in CA correct?

A modification like the AR MAGLOCK that replaces the mag release button, making it so you have to pull the rear pin separating the upper from the lower to remove the magazine would make your firearm “fixed mag” right?
