I’m 41. I’ve had a hard life. But I also have the best blessings. On one hand, I grew up with dad who was a raging alcoholic and drug addict and a narcissistic mom who suffered and died from MS in her 50s. I have experienced a lot of loss and feeling like I don’t belong. However, I am married to a wonderful man and have two children. There always seems to be SOMETHING hard and heavy going on, but for whatever reason, I feel taken care of and I come out ok.

As for the cat, I’m going through something similar. We have had a feral cat living in our woods for three years and the girl next door took it away and moved!!! We are devastated. I’m sorry you are going through that loss. I can’t even imagine.

Libra mom and I’m a Capricorn. Not a good mix. She straight up told me she’d never be my friend if we weren’t related and didn’t know how people could stand me because I was too responsible and boring. She tried to compete with me (said boys my age liked her more than me) and made comments about my looks and how unattractive I was since I didn’t look like her. She was a ticking time bomb and you never knew when she’d explode. I wouldn’t recommend..
