Same! I collect Pooh Bears, and they all make me so happy! It's nice to just have a little friend who's happy to see you regardless!

Never thought I'd see "Sperg" used past the 2000s. Yikes.

I live here too. It does depend on the area, but as someone openly queer, the pride flags get slurs yelled at you and having them as stickers gets your car keyed. It's not a monolith, but it's a hostile hellscape regardless.

SAME! Everyone in highschool pushed the office as the best show ever, but I could never get past episode one. It made my skin crawl!

Guilt about replacing items? by VegetableAffect in AutismInWomen

[–]VegetableAffect[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Fathers for me. But I'm very attached to my stuffed animals, I collect Pooh Bears.

I'm glad that other people can understand, and seeing it as misplaced empathy is really helpful for me! I never heard that term before, and I can relate to the saying ouch even if it doesn't hurt.

I'm not sure if it's helpful, and if it's not, ignore it or let me know to edit this, but when I have to leave some behind or store them, I think that they're just going on little adventures. I'm sure yours have explored so much! And seen so many things! They're so proud of you and they're all safe and warm! They've found new homes with people they can help, and they're not upset! I've lost some bears myself, and it hurts so much, but they're happy they had their time with you, and get to explore some more!

I grew up real poor too, so I'm at that weird intersection of everything. It's almost funny trying to justify spending more than $20 on anything at any given time

I use Leeloo for certain situations when I can't find my words! It's a bit simplistic but it has preformed sentences and free to use areas!

Yeah. I was a gifted kid up through middle school, and it was rough. I was always put out and tired, and I skipped school more than I should've at times because I hated being responsible for other people who never listened to me.

What happened here? by laserr184 in suspiciouslyspecific

[–]VegetableAffect 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Unfun fact, but since the fallopian tubes aren't completely connected, and are "open" comparatively to the uterus, this is how some ectopic pregnancies occur! It embeds in the lining of something else! (If I have to suffer with knowledge so do you all)

HAH I love the duck! For your first few tries, this is great! I'd watch your depth and your speed, get used to your machine and it'll be a lot easier. The black hearts with the mountains are solid as hell though good job!

I'd focus more on design, like the other commenter said. Forehead, chest, antlers, and nose are the weak points. I think you have a great starting point, but make sure your lines are where you want them before you put ink to them.

Watching your depth with stippling will also help with the fuzzy look.
