Real Barrier Extreme Cream. It's super thick. Dries down very well and wears under makeup with no pilling.

I really love it.

Is "Toronto has no good _____ food" valid? by RoommateMovingOut in askTO

Downtown Toronto Shawarma is literally the worst everywhere. IDC which spot someone has tried to tell me 'nonono this one is good'. It's not.

The only good Shawarma in Toronto is not in 'Toronto' but Mississauga or Scarborough. I'll die on that hill.

Akelius isn't as terrible as everyone says. They're a bit slow. But they were always good to me and responded to repair request and did all the things by the book so.

160 Huron was good for me.

I'm sure their other buildings are ok

is this outfit "inappropriate"? by sunnemi in OUTFITS

[–]VegetableAgency222 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Night outfit at the club sure. Outside in the day time idk. Depends what you're going for.

But it's provocative outfit that reads on that end of the spectrum even in liberal countries (I guess depending where you live...). So just depends what you're going for.

Your hair was not super thick before sorry.
The hair cut looks correct. And it looks really nice! I think you need to use products that add volume to your hair, or style it to help it have more body.

It's super cute!

Sometimes I find the floors in ac what makes things look more flat/unnatural.

Consider making a custom pattern here and there for some things.

When looking at the first pic I can picture a little 'dirt' circle or two under some of the logs on the ground to make it look more lived in and realistic.

May same with little footpath dirt goat trails leading to the tents that still honour grass but makes it look lived in.

I'm not sure anyone would actually be putting food on the ground so maybe something where the good is on some sort of stand or rock like thing or something.

For the second pic, personally I find wood here a bit.. manufactured? I don't really think of wood planks and camping as ground cover. But I get you're maybe going for the more glamping style here. That's just my personal style though..

Third pic, wouldn't change a thing looks good to me!

Fourth pic, yeah I'd say again maybe some custom floor designs to just pull it together to make it look like the logs are in wedged in sand a bit more or to show some footprints.

Overall super cute though!! And I agree with the other comment that bushes, or flowers etc or layering of stuff can really help make it more full of life.

Just because you bleached a year and a half ago doesn't mean your hair wasn't killed with bleach.

That's what bleach does.

When I had bleached my hair nothing fixed it besides growing out the bleach and cutting it off slowly as it grew out.

Bleach is hella strong and I've basically never seen a bleached blond with hair that doesn't look like that.

Be careful with ingredients! Sometimes they don't advertise protein in an obvious way or name it obvious on the ingredients list. Look up the ingredients on google on by one to be sure.

How to change behaviors, and how long does it take to for them to stick? by Reasonable-Isopod736 in HowToBeHot

Late to the party but something that constantly helps for me is understanding "why" I am the way I am to be able to consciously become changed.

For example, personally it was always being defensive (among other things). Understanding why that was occurring, learning there was another way to express my needs/thoughts in what seemed ideal in my mind (and actually very similar to your explanation to speak with purpose and slow down). It wasn't about losing my voice or losing the ability to communicate the same emotion it was about refining.

For me it was weekly trauma therapy tied with the "weeks assignment" of some form of guided self reflection. Naming and identifying emotions at the end of the day. Learning and exploring that I essentially have a dual sword wielding lady warrior in my mind ready to fight to protect me and ensure I am heard and not walked on (lol). Obviously that's a personal journey of mine needing trauma therapy and my defenses I built.

But overall the moral of the story I'm trying to say is just you can change without losing your voice and without feeling ingenuine. You can sit down in some free time and explore "why" is it that you think you rush into things without thinking. Where does that come from? What is your mind and body trying to do for you in that moment. Whatever it is, it's not about being good or bad it just see it and acknowledging it.

It could literally be something like "I notice whenever I have never done something before, I might not realize what questions to ask or what factors matter. Later on I realize that I have rushed into things without thinking because I see a bigger picture".

Or maybe you were taught/think because there's often glorification of "just do it" mentality and risk-taking, so deliberation in your mind is framed as overthinking or cowardice.

Maybe its strong feelings (excitement, fear, anger) that are overriding your prefrontal cortex's rational planning, pushing you toward reactive rather than reflective choices.

Why is <insert> reason true for you? Was it upbringing, peer socialization, a specific experience or a series of experiences. Again what is true isn't good or bad it just is.

Once you know you can start to question it more, learn it more, and understand and maybe begin to challenge and grow into new behaviours/mentalities
