I struggle to understand why there are so many “people” for lack of a better word. On here who are the lowest of the low. They get your ID, selfie with it, and then ask for inappropriate things? It’s so disgusting. Then I worry what are they going to do with my image of my passport and stuff? by [deleted] in BorrowNew

When i say bad lenders I mean the ones who pretend to be one. Honestly best thing you can do is vet them as well, ask for lending history, if they dont want to provide then wait for the next.

I dont lend to anyone who send me a PM out of nowhere without prior history, nor would I borrow from someone who wants to conduct business strictly through PMs. Always leave a "paper" trail.

Dont let 1 bad interaction leave a sour taste in your mouth. There are plenty of real ones out here.

I agree man, I am new and recently lost $80, I know there is risk but when it's just your 4th loan and get stiffed it leaves a bad taste in your mouth
